Loved Thailand's goal this morning.

Will watch the US later on dvr and hope to see them reading the Sunday paper if they score.

Wow.  What a game by Chile’s GK.  Even though they lost, Endler was the player of the game IMO.

It’ll be interesting to see what Thursday’s lineup looks like.  Krieger, Lloyd, Pugh, and Davidson all played well enough to be considered for the top 11.  Hope we play with a little more pace though.

 
I don't watch a lot of international women's soccer but I can't imagine there are too many women goalkeepers in the world better than Endler.

The depth of this team is incredible.  Pugh and Press were super impressive in this game.

First time I got to see Davidson play - can she play LB for the men?

(sorta) noob question for the more seasoned footy fellers ... seeing as how France is already thru to next round, do they let off the gas a bit today?  as in resting some key ladies, etc? 

of course, flipside is that they have this once in a lifetime WC on their home turf, so maybe they keep the mustard on for the home fans/crowd  :shrug:

asking for a friend who is down 200 thus far and needs some Frenchie juice today  :popcorn:

Who are they playing?

I'd guess they rest key players and any on yellow cards if possible.

 
They need a win or a tie to guarantee 1st in their group, so they have something to play for.  They've only gotten 1 yellow (Le Summer), so that shouldn't be much of a concern for sitting players.  The only thing I'd check up on is injuries - not sure if any of their starters are banged up.

yep, so much more exciting than vanilla money lines/spreads, etc ...

...though i've lost 6 of 7 on teh props - only one i hit was Italy 4+ goals last Thursday - netted me $550 - that's a nice chunk o'cheddah, and i am giving it all back -

I’m surprised at how slow all of the SA players are. Not once in both games I’ve seen have they been able to win a foot race to the ball against their opponents.
