good lookin' out ... kinda juiced for some of those bottom feeders to crash the superfecta, so to speak - Norway may be worth that plunk. 

tempted as #### to go heavy (1k+) chalk on our girls for the whole shebang  ... what can i say ... they got the hooks in me  :shrug:

I wouldn't want to bet against our girls winning it all for all the same reasons you laid out - I LOVE this team.  I don't want to tamper with that fanaticism by placing a wager on another country to win it all.

That said, Germany at 7:1 is awfully tempting.  And I don't think the Japanese are anywhere near as good as they used to be, but keep in mind they were the US opponent in 2011 and 2015.  +375 to make the final four isn't an awful idea.  And I'm mildly intrigued by what this Italian team has done so far.  They weren't viewed very favorably at the onset of this tournament.  Attractive odds there.  

But.......USA USA USA!!!!!!

If you took our 2nd 11 players and put them on their own team, they'd likely be favorites to make the semis.  I don't think betting on the USWNT to win it is a bad bet at all and those odds are actually better than I expected.

good stuff  :thumbup:  very hard to jump off our lasses right now - never mind the homerism factor, they're simply the most complete squad. 

how do you see Sweden faring? weren't they the last to beat USWNT in a competition?

the end of that Nigeria/France game on Monday was absurd anarchist theater ... they went at least 20 mins over (believe it was 1:11:20 total time) - i had France to win by one goal, and they got it at roughly the 65 minute mark(?) ... was excruciating seeing the time just go on and on and on and on ... felt like i took a 27 hour dump when they mercifully blew that final whistle - never sweat a $50 wager out so hard.
