Assuming they are gonna cut RGIII before week 1. Trivia Question: who will be the Redskins # 3 quarterback?
This is my problem with cutting/trading him. If they think they should have 3 QBs on the roster, then they should keep him. Don't get rid of guys because of hurt feelings. Grow up. Unless they have someone out there who knows Jay's offense or if there's some veteran (think someone like a Kerry Collins or Vinny Testaverde...but not those guys today...you know what I mean) out there who can step into most situations and not complete mess things up, then keep Griffin. If they think they have options for a third QB, then do whatever. But, don't get rid of him simply because it's awkward.
Having said that, I'd keep him around because he's 25. If he causes problems, I'd use the disciplinary process to my advantage. If he wants out, he needs to work his way out in a positive way.
Of course, I would not pay him $16m next year. But, as of today, I don't need to worry about that.
