Well, despite losing Gore and Hillis this week I still have an outside chance at getting a win. I am done. My opponent has Kasay and Steve Smith. I have a 20 point lead.

Strange scoring 3 points at 100 yards, +1 for each addl 15 yards, 6 pts per td, .5 pt per recpt. kickers get 3 for 0-39 yd fg, 4 for 40 - 49, etc.

I think my goose is cooked. Lets say Kasay gets 3 fgs and 2 xp. There is a minimum of 11, then the other guy needs 1 td, 2 recpt and 100 yds from Smith.

Not liking my chances...heres to a low scoring game....but even then I just lost my two rbs and ray Rice (my backup got hurt tonight as well).

Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhh.....

If you get that I'm a dead man walking...letssee 2 tds = 12 points, 200 yds = 9 points, so he would beat me without using Kasay or any of Smith's receptions. Here's hoping you don't get that from Smith - but it wouldn't surprise me.
 
We started our 3-week, 4-team, round-robin playoffs this week.

I need 7.1 from Deangelo Williams to start the 3-week tourney at 1-0.

I don't think you're in as bad shape as you think. The key is if Smith gets a TD - if he does, you're probably beat. If not, let's say he gets 5-95-0, which are his averages over 10 games this year (remember 2-game suspension) - that's just 2.5 points. Even if he gets 8-150-0, thats just 10. And that's a HUGE game. The other guy still needs 10 from his kicker, which means 2 FG's ++, or 3 FG's most likely.If he does get a TD, he'll only need 6-100-1 to put up 12 points. Still a big game, but considering the way Smith scores TD's (bombs), very likely. 8 points is a little more doable for a kicker.I'm on your side - I need Delhomme to do something less than 320 yards and 4 TD's. I'm feeling pretty confident there.As far as next week, well, hope for big games from your WR's!
 
In the only league that matters and is in doubt, I have almost no idea exactly what I need. I've won my game already setting up a tie across divisions for the wild card playoff spot. It's 3 teams, and I think it could become a 4-way tie if something really crazy happens, and somebody comes from way down to win.

Assuming I understand the playoff tiebreakers right, The teams not in my divison are dead, so that 4th team joining the tie is sort of irrelevant directly to the tiebreak, but it matters how much every team in the league scores this week. I need to make up a little ground to get to tied or better in the first tiebreaker, which is all-play record. I control the second tiebreaker, which is overall points scored. I could use big points from Bryant & Muhammad, but no matter how it ends up, I need a team to score more than the team I beat but less than I score, to force the tie to go tot he second tiebreaker. Finishing with the lowest points scored in the league last week is hurting me badly, if I had beaten out one team last week, I'd be in the playoffs now.

Up 5 in a 1 PPR league.

I have DeAngelo and he has Carolina D.

Defensive scoring is screwy in my league, they can win you games!

All this is moot as long as DWill goes nuts, but that Tampa D is scary.

Not to mention its against the second place team (I'm first), and I clinch Number 1 seed if I win.

Um, isn't the sole purpose of this thread for us to say what each of our teams need?Why would you even bother to read it if you don't care about what other FBG's require to make it through to next week?Oh, and 1 solo and 1 assist from Barrett Ruud.
 
nothing. I've either already lost (2 redrafts) or won (2 dynasty leagues)

so I can just kick back and enjoy a good game tonight

 
I need Jerramy Stevens to pull a hamstring during warm-ups. I am up by two with my opponent having Stevens. We get 2 points for every 10 yards, so anything over 20 yards, and my season is over.

 
I need 11 pts from Bryant. Say 6 catches for 75 yds . A TD would make it much easier though. :shrug:

This would help me knock off the top seed despite the two big fat turds laid yesterday by Addai and Lynch. :hot:

I need 23 points from Steve Smith & John Carney. I'm not liking my chances. I'll check the stats in the morning to see how it turns out.

 
need rosario to outscore dunn by two points (te scoring is 1.5 per catch)... another league need dunn to score less than 16 points... i hope dunn does squat tonight

 
I need Dunn to not get more than 6 points tonite. So basically I need him to get lost on the way to the stadium.

:excited: Even though stevegamer's post was a little thin on what he wanted tonight, it did pertain to what he needs during MNF. :crazy: to Islanders rule trying to be the cool guy.I need Antonio Bryant to catch 50 yards and a TD or 100 yards total. The more the merrier. Got a half decent lead going into tonight, but I'm facing the Steve Smith owner. No lead is comfortable enough for me...
 
I need 30 points from the Bryants.

Which equates to something like this...

6 -75 and a TD from Antonio

1 40yd FG, 1 30yd FG and an expt from Matt.

Thats 31.5 points in my league.

I need a fumble/int and a sack (or 3 sacks) from Carolina's defense to win my first round (need 3 pts to win).

I was pretty giddy when I realized that this morning, until I looked and Carolina's D had ZERO points last time these guys played this year.

I'm a bit concerned......

 
I need Deangelo Williams carted off the field or Stewart to be the focal point of the offense. I have a 24 point lead with no one left and he has Williams.

 
If another team loses, I'll get into the playoffs...which means I need John Kasay and Warrick Dunn to combine for 13....

Which is also a reason I love fantasy football...in what other scenario would I stay up until midnight rooting for John Kasay and Warrick Dunn?

Looks like I don't need to worry about rbs for next week...I am now up by 1 point. If Smith gets 1 recpt for 7 yards, I lose. I hate this game.
