I was so excited they said first down, but god at 4th down, they shoulda challenged it IMO, didnt see a clean replay, but looked like his knee mighta been down before line

Anyways what a damn good win!

I think the spot might have been off by a few inches, but not enough to affect the first down. In the end, I simply thought the refs got the call right.

Not to mention, would you want to be the official that ended the season for a team on a play that came down to just an inch. It was close no doubt about it, but nothing to challenge over IMO. The game needs to be won by the players when you are in the 4th quarter under 3:00 minutes in the Superbowl. Great job stripes.

Actually, if Jacobs was short by one inch, I'd want the spot to be correct to reward the defense for making the stop. The team that's behind should not get the benefit of the doubt on a call over the team that is in the lead.

Have you ever seen a challenge being over turned with a response of, "we will move the ball back one inch." no way can a challenge get you that close and no way is there enough camera film angles to get that precise call.

I think we're basically in agreement here. My point was just that I want the right call to be made, and I think it was on that play. I don't want the referee to factor in game situation as to whether or not a call should be reviewed...

It doesn't matter where his knee was, it is the ball location that matters.
