Owners trying to trade or get Lamont Jordan (1 Viewer)

Got stuck with him as a keeper and tried to trade him before the season and every week since.

Finally dumped the dead weight. He's a marginal RB in a horrible system for RB's. Last year he was made to look a lot better than he was due to Norv Turner's system.

Trade was Jordan and Warner for Steve Smith and Brad Johnson

I'm trying to parlay my RB's performances in week 1 to try and upgrade that position for me. I was hoping my reaches at RB would pan out for me in the second half of the season but they all had relatively good games so I am looking at other teams that might be in desperation and upgrade either my RB's or QB's. I play in a start 1RB 1WR and 2FLEX(WR/TE/RB) league and have good depth at WR. MY QB's are scaring me at the moment(CPEP,Favre, and Frye) and would like a more secure player at that position. My RB's are SJackson, Maroney, Duece, and Henry. SJax is untouchable but I'm going to try and package Duece, Henry, and CPep to try and acquire Palmer and another RB. Hopefully I can pull it off. BTW my WR's that I started last week were Harrison, Burress, and Reg Brown so i am relatively happy with a possible starting lineup of those three to also include Jackson and Maroney and to just mix and match those guys up.
And this has what to do with owners trying to trade or get Lamont Jordan? :loco:

I wasn't trying to get Jordan, but before this past weeks games I traded Burress, andre Johnson, chester taylor to get steve smith and lamont jordan. I wanted smith and agreed to include the taylor for jordan in the swap.

I'm not looking smart after one week, but here's to Smith getting back on the field and Jordan at least coming back to mediocrity.

I have Jordan and I'm looking to upgrade my WR in a 12 team league and NOBODY seems to want him.

I'm trying to package Jordan and Brady to a team needing a QB for Boldin and Braylon. No bite. I'm not sure if I'm asking too much but I don't THINK I am.

I think I'm gonna wait it out and see what Jordan can do against the Browns and Niners in Weeks 4 and 5. Also, Art Shell surprisingly had the good idea that Jordan needs to start catching balls out of the backfield again.

That seems like a LOT to pay for those guys... I have offered Steve and LaMont to a guy for Stallworth and Fred Taylor. Owner initially said no, but seems to be thinking about it now - he likes LaMont a lot and Taylor is his 3rd RB, anyway. Very different opinions out there regarding who would benefit most.

He sure did... he said he "wrote it down."

Redraft (PPR/yadgage)-

Gave up: Delhomme, Julius Jones

Received, Jordan, Plummer, Gado

Roster Now

QB: Hasselbeck, McNair, Plummer, A.Smith

RB: Ronnie Brown, Cadillac, Jordan, Gado, M. Bell

WR: S.Smith, DJax, Mason, Edwards, Henry

I traded away Randy Moss, Marion Barber, and Lendale White for him in a 12 team 0.5 PPR redraft. My leaguemates seem to think I got screwed, but with LJ at RB1 and Burress/Ward at WR, I thought it was worth the "risk".

I was offered to send an owner Jerricho Cotchery for him. I did it.

Cotchery has high value right now but I generally assume an overpayment for runners. So I think I actually made out on the deal. The owner was frustrated so I figured it worked out.

I recently completed the following trade:

Grossman, T Jones and D Williams

for

Warner, Jordan, and Mike Anderson (whom I plan to drop)

This is a 10 team league where Jordan will be my #3 RB (can start 3 with a flex position), behind Rudi and Portis, so I thought it was worth the risk, and it vastly improves my QBs

I will hang on for a couple more weeks because I think it will get better with Jordan with the next couple of teams coming up. At that time, if his value rises, then I might consider trading. If not, well, he can ride the bench.

In my league, I was going to trade Barlow and TBell for Lamont Jordan and leave him as my RB3...
Made this trade in a dynasty league before week 2.Barlow + TBell for Jordan + Morency.Just wanted a 4th non-RBBC option. I don't have to start Jordan and can wait for the team to come around.

I submitted mike bell/greg jennings for jordan in a 14 teamer, the other owner accepted but it has not been apporved by the commish yet.

Someone traded Ronnie Brown and Ernest Wilford for Lamont Jordan and Reggie Wayne today in one of my leagues.

Thougt this was worth bumping since Jordan's value took a jump this week.

This is the remaining schedule:

@SanFran, @Den, Ariz, Pit, @Sea, Den, @KC, @S.D., Houston, @Cin, STL, KC, @NYJ

I like the playoff schedule.

What is he going for in your league this week?

Traded away Gore for Lamont last week. Buy low sell high

Lamont couldn't get any lower coming off thew bye, and Gore can't get any higher.

I was offered TJ for Lamont in a Dynasty.

I turned it down (start 3 WR and have Boldin, Reggie Wayne and Santana and I am not strong at RB)

Was Dropped this week before the game in in my league. I am considering dropping TJones for him or trying to swing a deal with a rb to free up a roster spot for him but my place in the waivers order means I likely won't get a chance.

Im gonna hold onto him as my RB3 but that 5 week stretch in the middle of the season is brutal. I also own Gore and theres no way I see Jordan outscoring Gore the rest of the year.

Ive got him, and Im sure I wont get offered anything worth taking for him.

I think his value can only increase when Brooks comes back

I got him before this past weeks game.

I gave: Bush, Coles, Heap

I got: Jordan, Smith, McMichael

I'm happy right now.

I am thinking of dumping him.. I really don't see that line getting better and he isn't getting any catches. We all don't know about next year but this year I can tell you he will struggle..

I finally dumped him off. The schedule is just getting worse, the Raiders may get shutout 3-4 times over the next 5 weeks. He has a great playoff schedule but by then who knows whats going on with the Raiders. He was basically worthless to me so I traded:

Jordan, Benson, & Horn for Addai & Kennison (nonkeeper league)

I feel pretty lucky to get what I did
