Stepped away and missed that play...but seems Rodgers in previous games has been "gunning" some of those balls rather than putting his usual touch on it.Not sure how this one missed as I did not see though.

I'm someone who is rather tired of McCarthy abandoning the run so often. It was there, but they didn't connect. Prior to Nelson's catch, Rodgers hasn't connected on a pass longer than about 30 yards (31) since week one (49). It's been frustrating to continue to see drops and bad passes to stall a good drive.Why keep trying it on third and short if ou haven't really connected on anything? That's my opinion at least. It worked out, and I'm on my couch instead of n the sidelines so clearly I don't know as much asmccarthy

I guess. When you're 2-3 and facing your toughest match up yet, I'd think you'd play a little safer to try for the win more. Meh, worked out so I guess it's a moot point.
