seattle's defense has been good today. the offense has done well too, especially on the short fields the panthers have given them today. they've scored on those opportunities.

They are fast and athletic. They matchup well especially on a fast field with just about anyone. Plus the confidence level is really high right now. They are a bad call away from Carolina having zip.

He's not lesser known among Seattle fans. He had a 'quiet' year by his standards he set his rookie year. He had several game clinching picks last year and a handful of clutch grabs this year. Tatupu's stolen his thunder this year, but I love the tandem. Wish Hamlin were in there for it too.

They're learning. Seahawks will get a lot of press now. My only fear is too many MNF games in our future. I HATE the Hawks on MNF, I CAN"T WATCH IT!!!!

When the Panthers were in the Super Bowl, they only got one MNF game the next year. They still have never gotten more than one MNF game per year. I don't know if maybe they would have gotten two MNF games had they won the Super Bowl, but I doubt it.
 
The best team in the NFC is going to the Super Bowl & well deserved. Good to see a franchise as old as this one get to the big game for the first time. Enjoy this Seahawks fans, no one knows as much as you guys how hard it is to get there.

 
30 YEARS. 30 years it took us. I've been a fan for 28 and this is absolutely incredible. Mom, I'm coming home for the Super Bowl!

Yeah lemme throw in a hats-off to the Hawks... best of luck in the SB, I'm gonna root for ol fat Jerome but I won't shed any tears if Seattle gets theirs.. they definitely deserve it.

Yes, I'm sure that Eagles drubbing was tough to watch....
 
So I'm thinking that the pressure will be on Seattle rather than Pitt.The best the NFC has to offer vs. the worst the AFC has to offer (at least seed-wise).Will Seattle feel pressure? Just happy to be there?Holmgren will earn his $$ if he keeps the team's heads on straight.

Hell he should have been on the bench in the last 20 minutes of most games all season but had to tack on the scores and yards. Why change now?
