Paradise on Hulu: Episode 7 "The Day" is a masterpiece **WARNING, SPOILERS INSIDE** (1 Viewer)

the 2nd season dude will be looking for his wife

I figured, but, not really interested. Seemed the whole first season was just "what's really going on?" and now we know and we even solved the crime and it ended up being someone completely unrelated to the really going on stuff, so now that that's all petered out... just gonna be a guy driving around or are they going to jerk us around for another 10 episodes by not explaining anything until the end?
I'd imagine that there will be a lot of flashbacks to the people on the surface and how they survived the event

Well, there's Coober Pedy in Australia and there's one under Beijing and then over here there's the cheyenne mountain complex. Lots of ancient ones though. There might be more but you'd have to google. Other than preexisting ones it would be hard to prove since they'd likely be classified or only known to select individuals.
That coober place is cool... Saw a doc of some kind on it. More of small town with some individual underground houses than an underground city though, right? Or are they all connected somehow? I don't really recall. Don't know the one in Beijing... The tomb with the clay soldiers? Cheyenne is a military safe-house kind of set up, right? (obviously bigger than a house).

I was reacting originally to "underground city"- anything similar to the recent Post article or the tv show. I hadn't heard of anything like that.. although maybe the Beijing thing is?

The Coober Pedy might be more of a tourist trap than a city. At first, I was under the impression that it was a mining town and maybe it was at once and is now just a tourist attraction? I'm not sure. Beijing is a full on city I think though. I remember doing a google search for underground bunkers when the show first came out so when Cletius posted a link as if to say "look guys its happening!" my reaction was "ok, that's nothing new"

Someday, someone with alot of money will make a vault themed hotel. (it's a fallout thing)

Go to Turkey, the ancients did underground cities right.
