Enjoy the show. Please let us know how it was.Just got the tix to see Sir Paul.
I like their work. But if it's one or the other I have to go with the legend that was part of changing music. You guys dissing the Eagles are nuts.
You put them up against Paul McCartney I would expect they would lose. It wasn't like the choice was between them and Bananarama. You guys dissing the Eagles are nuts.
Is Paul asking for a BJ after going down on his girl?saintsfan said:The Eagles are great, but this is magic. Nobody will be crying in the audience at an Eagles show.
If you have to ask, you should probably skip both and save your money for things you're more interested in. Maybe go see a good rock show in a bar instead. If you have to ask, there is little reason to explain to you why it isn't even close.
Sheesh, a living legend vs. the iggles?????
C'mon Man!
Well, that's been speculated on for 50 years now. The song was written primarily by John and IMO it is exactly the kind of thing he would write about. People think early Beatles, so it has to be innocent, right?? I Want To Hold Your Hand and all that. Yeah, what I wouldn't give to have followed those 4 guys around Hamburg in the early 60s. My guess is the entire perception of the early Beatles would change if you could do that. The Eagles are great, but this is magic. Nobody will be crying in the audience at an Eagles show.
Says more about the fan base than the perfomer. A lot more weepers at a Bieber concert. The Eagles are great, but this is magic. Nobody will be crying in the audience at an Eagles show.

You can't compare Justin Bieber to the power and magic of the Beatles. That power and magic exists at a McCartney concert. The Eagles are just another popular group.Short Corner said:And?saintsfan said:In 50 years, nobody will be crying at a Bieber concertShort Corner said:Says more about the fan base than the perfomer. Sure but it's still the Eagles. The Big Guy said:Plus indoor venue over outdoor every time. At least I think the Eagles one is an indoor.
I saw him in Minneapolis a couple weeks ago. To do 35 songs for nearly 3 hours straight without so much as taking a break for a drink of water at his age is very impressive. Even though I'd seen him back in 2019 and it was nearly the same show, it was still awesome. To have that love for performing and giving the fans an experience to still be doing this at 83 is commendable.I went to the McCartney concert in NO last night. My god what a show. The dude is more incredible than ever.
I just watched the documentary Get Back and while the Beatles were my first "rock" band, I gained an even greater appreciation for them and their music after. Would love to see McCartney perform sometime. He's one of those old school dudes that seem to get it and it reflects in what he gives back to the audience. I saw Robert Plant a number of times and was very similar, just a pro that made sure everybody in the audience walked away with a memory.I went to the McCartney concert in NO last night. My god what a show. The dude is more incredible than ever.
