That spam advertisement for travel stayed online for 45 minutes this morning because nobody said anything.

I reported it at about 3:00 AM and again at 4:15 (?)

I reported them and put him on ignore. That at least takes them off the first page. Just have a short first page until the bot is eliminated.Great stuff - always appreciate it.
Can you do your top 150 airline cancellation policies next since this is all that's keeping the first page from being covered by them?

Nobody is saying it's on the forum. I'm saying it helps us a ton if multiple people report spam when they see it.
More people reporting escalates the alert.
Ultimately, it's my fault as it's my forum. And it's a bad experience if there's spam. But I need the forum's help for lots of people to report.

I grew up absolutely hating spam. My dad would fry it and make us sandwiches. Yuck. Then I moved to Hawaii and just fell in love with spam musubi. Hell, even 2 dollar gas station musubi was a win. Now living in Georgia, all they sell in gas stations is entire pizzas and anything they got laying around thrown in a deep fat fryer. What is it with the south and deep fat frying absolutely everything ? Ha ha

I reported one of the posts last night... and then later the user account (twice), as that appeared to be the better way to go once there were a half dozen posts that had popped up. Didn't want to play whack-a-mole.
Reading the other posts in this thread, clearly others reported as well. @Joe Bryant Makes me wonder if you were getting the reports or if someone maybe wasn't monitoring this AM?
Only asking as your post made it sound like you guys weren't aware of it for a stretch this morning, when there were clearly multiple reports logged last night.

Joe that’s not totally true. I was online when they were coming in and reported one immediately. 11 PM-ish last night.

Thanks. And sorry I wasn’t clear, I’m not saying anything was true or not true. Several people did report the spam.
What I’m asking is for tons of people to report spam like this when they see it. It’s embarrassing to have spam like that and clearly it makes the site less usable. If everyone can help us there and report when they see something flagrant like that, it would be appreciated.
