Bush had what, 5 TDs last year?looks like Bush will still vulture tds?Looking like a career year for Forte.
It limits his upside. Those are 5 tds Forte could have had, no?Bush had what, 5 TDs last year?looks like Bush will still vulture tds?Looking like a career year for Forte.
Who knows what he does this year, but if Im considering Forte I wouldnt be worried about that (and I thought the same before tonight)
Marshall: Jay can you tell him stop stealing my Bears gear. Cutler: Alshon stop stealing Brandon's Bears gear.Marshall mixed up the uniform numbers.Cutler noticed he's on the team?Jeffery getting a heavy dose.
Ticky tack for sure...cutting off the WR by putting his arm out to push on him.Did they really call PI on the Blackmon INT?
That is really, really hard. Flip a coin.... can't go wrong.also, AJ Green or Dez Bryant in PPR?
Gosh I hope the other guys at my draft tomorrow have this same outlook on Lacy.Watched much of the Seahawks/Packers game just now on DVR.
- Russell Wilson was disappointing.
- Green Bay could struggle if Nelson/Cobb are limited. Jones struggles to beat coverage. Finley looked like the only real playmaker on the field.
- Eddie Lacy looked slow and sluggish. Very disappointing.
- On the other hand, Christine Michael looked very explosive. Good power too. Crazy as it seems, I don't think I'd trade him for any other rookie RB in dynasty at this point.
- Seattle TE Luke Willson played early and often. Made some nice blocks too. Definitely looking like a solid player.
- Chris Harper is pretty far down the Seahawks depth chart and at risk of getting cut. He will likely have a big audition next week and he needs to make some plays.
So Flynn, ummm, sucks.
I don't doubt Lacy's ability. I doubt Green Bay's dedication to running the ball.So Flynn, ummm, sucks.![]()
He looked confused all night...well, that and terrified.
yeah...noEddie Lacy looks to be the real deal. He's going to a beast if the Packers use him correctly. ROY easily.
I don't doubt your assessment. I doubt your ability to respond to the right post.I don't doubt Lacy's ability. I doubt Green Bay's dedication to running the ball.So Flynn, ummm, sucks.![]()

What happened to him?Streater down...aaaaaaaaaaaaaand there goes the only viable FF option on OAKs entire team
Marshall had a few drops and Cutler threw a little behind him on one and it got poked out by the DB. I do think Jay was focussed on get Alshon the ball tonight - he was almost as locked on Jeffrey as he was on Marshall last season - probably just showing defenses that he can throw to someone else. He did have a few nice passes to Bennet too - one of them Bennet could have held on to for a big gain.Didnt get to watch the game. Did Marshall make it on the field much, or did Jay decide to shut everyone up about the Marshall connection?
Shut up and hand me another beer.I don't doubt your assessment. I doubt your ability to respond to the right post.I don't doubt Lacy's ability. I doubt Green Bay's dedication to running the ball.So Flynn, ummm, sucks.![]()

Montreal?Where does Flynn go next year as the presumed starter, only to get beaten out in the preseason yet again?
Is there any way that Pryor could go into the season as the starter? He could end up with 800 rushing yards on broken pass plays alone.Would have been nice to see Pryor playing against Chicago's first-string defense, to see whether this enthusiasm is warranted or not, but that ship has sailed. I don't expect Seattle's starting defense will play much, if at all against the Raiders next week.
After tonight, you have to think the coaches are gonna huddle up and give this some serious thought. Is there any way that Pryor could go into the season as the starter? Helps if you have money on the opposition.Raiders are not watchable
The tie breaker with me is health and Dez plays a beastly physical game and i think his game is riskier. I prefer the finesse of green over the braun of Dez.also, AJ Green or Dez Bryant in PPR?
So do I. He looked great IMO. The run that got called back for a holding call was all I needed to see to know he is going to be a very good RB in the NFL. He looked like a young Bettis on that run.Gosh I hope the other guys at my draft tomorrow have this same outlook on Lacy.Watched much of the Seahawks/Packers game just now on DVR.

If he gets to play the Raiders every week then yes.Looking like a career year for Forte.
Classic!! I'll take the under..LOLOver/Under on Raider wins this year is 1.5
Do you not realize that defenses will change their schemes and load the box when you have a backup QB and below average WRs in the game? That will kill any running lanes for a RB.I wasn't able to catch any of the games last night. I'm having a hard time trying decipher if everyone here is just in love with Lacy or if there really was something that points to this guy being worth his ADP. I've read all the excuses and they sound pretty bad to me.
Cobb and Nelson are out: Ok, didn't realize those guys played offensive line
Backup QB: See above.
One good run got called back from a hold: Some say it was the hold that opened up the hole. Others may be blinded by love.
It's the Seattle D: True, but I don't want my RB having negative yards on 8 carries even if they are playing against an all star team.
Can someone post something of value and actual insight? Only positive I've seen (which is a big positive) is that he was picking up pass blocks well. Vonta Leach is a great blocker as well, but I'm not drafting him. Don't tell me that he was a beast, etc. because no player that touches the ball 8 times and goes for negative yards is a beast.
All the above are valid comments. Given the right situation Lacy looks like he could be a star. However, the Packers aren't committed to running the ball. I'll be shocked if they have a RB gain 800 yards this season. They might "try" to run the ball at times, but their heart isn't in it. They know they are going to score points and win games by allowing Rogers to zip the ball all over the field. They aren't a physically dominating offense. They're finesse. To consistently run the ball in the NFL you have to have an offensive line that has the right demeanor. Green Bay doesn't have it. It starts with the front office and Green Bay brain trust. In order to run the ball you have to commit to assembling your offense around that commitment. It's not as easy as just drafting a talent at RB. It has to start with drafting fatties that play with attitude.I wasn't able to catch any of the games last night. First off...with Cedric freaking Benson GB committed to run the ball. All the above are valid comments. Given the right situation Lacy looks like he could be a star. Was thinking this exact thing - plus it's not like Pryor costs you anything but a roster spot to find out. Is he a long-term answer? Probably not. But for now, I'll take that gamble as my backup/3rd QB. I don't think it'll take long for them to make the move to Pryor… he's just much more effective with the personnel (or lack thereof) that they currently have in place. And who knows? Maybe the throwing improves...People in deep leagues should not sleep on Pryor. Tebow had value when he started strictly due to running ability. I remember when Pryor was being recruited and was imagined as a Lebron James at QB. People will always hate him because he throws a lame duck ball but if he puts it together I could see him as a poor mans Donovan Mcnabb, maybe a better runner than that.
Under McCarthy Green Bay has ranked 24, 21, 17, 14, 24, 27, and 20th in rushing.First off...with Cedric freaking Benson GB committed to run the ball.
I have been on McCarthy in the past for not doing it enough...but sometimes it is hard to blame him not running when he has nobody to hand the ball off to.
If you don't think EDS, Lang, and Sitton have or play with attitude...you are clueless. Not saying they are great...but they play with attitude. Jury still out on the rook.
As for last night...again, as others have said. Look at what Seattle was doing. Loading the box...knowing they were not going to get beat by Graham Harrell throwing it to Jeremy Ross and Myles White.. And they have the corners and safeties to deal with Jones...the only real threat at the time.
Yes...the WRs and QB don't play OL. But the OL is not likely to see that stacked of a box again when Rodgers, Cobb, Nelson are all on the field.
Even before the injury...they were not trading Harris.starks has lost all value, harris is the last hope for trade bait
Harris missed a ton of offseason after having surgery to remove a cyst from his lung...and a knee injury (which he aggrivated last night).I'm sure everyone else's reaction is same as mine: really GB, Dejuan Harris? I agree with another poster, really feels like a matter of time. I think the protection for Rodgers could hold back a rookie but I was under the assumption Lacy was a polished blocker too.
