Preseason Game Observations (1 Viewer)

Peyton targets so far:

2/5 DT, TD reception from the 7 on 4th and 2 (pulled from game after taking a pretty big hit to the lower leg)

6/7 Decker

4/5 JT

3/3 Hillman (stripped fumble lost, returned for a TD)
2/4 Caldwell (both incompletes were horrible throws from Peyton)

2/3 Ball (absolutely horrible drop)

2/3 Tamme

Welker didn't dress. Hillman is looking really good. Hillman and Ball have both lined up out wide.

Anyone watch the Bengal game? I see BJGE got 5 yards on 4 carries. Time to put him out to pasture and give Gio the keys to the minivan.

Lamar Miller owners:

I'm watching the game, and he's showing good burst and more importantly, he's correctly picking up blitzes and pass protecting well.

Barring some careless turnover or an injury, be reassured.

Anybody watching the Philly/Jax game able to weigh in on the RB2 situation in Philly? Don't want to post suscriber content, but it seems in the latest Fall Camp Week 3 that Polk has seemingly gained the edge over Bryce Brown.

I know so far Brown has 3 carries to Polk's 1, but I'm curious if anybody can weigh in. I think there's late value to be had there.

Hillman yet another .....fumble.

Guy isn't built to be a primary back (in before the HE GAINED 20 POUNDS). Can't run in the tackles / get tough yards. Stop already with this experiment.

I asked the Philly homers this in the Eagles thread and they seem confident that Brown is the clear #2.

Big hit to DT's lower leg. Got up quick, looked hurt. These new WR rules are going to make fantasy football a snore. Expect 25 WR injuries every year.

Bowe making beauty snags all 2nd quarter... looking like a beast

So effortless - him and Smtih could have a beauty season together

Don't know if you can read anything into it, but Brown was the next RB in the game after McCoy tonight. He's had a couple of decent runs but the team in general doesn't seem to be running much so far tonight. Polk got some time in the first half as well.

ETA: 1st half rushing stats - Brown 3-14, McCoy 5-9 (long of 15), Polk 1-4, Vick 7-53

I have crazy man love for Dthomas, but has there ever been an NFL player who takes himself out of the game more? It seemed last year after every catch he was limping off the field, setting the fantasy world on fire, only to return a few plays later.

I dont think you get options when a 300 lb guy dives into your lower leg.

Tavon Austin is the new Human Joystick. And unlike the original, he strikes fear in opposing defenses too (as opposed to just opposing special teams).
