That sucks. Doctors need to start being held accountable for closely monitoring their patients when they prescribe opiod pain meds. It's one of the most dangerous drugs out there and doctors act like it's no bid deal.

What I'm afraid may happen is that a lot of doctors get an ego boost from being (celebrity's) personal doctor and don't want to say no and may overprescribe.

Also very close to what happened to Elvis. Being "anti-drug" didn't save him either.

Really sad about this one. I hope the pill overdose rumors are not true. He apparently never drank or was into drugs, so that would be ironic. My favorite Prince song, The Beautiful Ones. All of his music was really good.
