PUNK Music Draft - Now Ongoing post awesome punk songs thread (2 Viewers)

I think I missed my 12th round pick, so I will make up for that with a band that I think should be more represented, in particular this album, so:

12.14 - Minutemen - The Glory of Man (1984)

I always had a little bit of a muddled understanding of Minutemen and Mike Watt, and in re-listening to their catalog, I now remember why.  They really do a lot of different kind of stuff, but through it all, a very DIY and go-your-own-way style and I love what they are thinking and feeling and doing and jamming.

Starting with the affirmation of man

I never truly got the Minutemen until I was lot older. Knew of them, had heard them, but had never really listened to them. Cool pick.

Never heard these guys but im liking it. 

Sad that I havent gotten into new music much. Send me over some more like these guys.

FOR MONDAY PM MAKE ANY PICKS OWED UP TIL ROUND 20 FREE FOR ALL STYLE. THIS WILL BE THE THEORETICAL END OF THE DRAFT.

I WILL GET EVERYTHING UP TO DATE FOR THE END OF MONDAY.

IF YOU ARE SO INCLINED, WE CAN CONTINUE WITH:

ROUNDS 21 AND 22 TUESDAY

ROUNDS 23 AND 24 WEDNESDAY

ROUND 25 THURSDAY.

I WILL GET EVERYTHING UP TO DATE UP TO ROUND 25 FOR THE END OF THURSDAY AND THAT WILL BE THE LAST I'LL BE UPDATING - SO FINISHED IN TERMS OF THE GOOGLE DOC AND PLAYLIST. IF ANYONE WANTS TO KEEP GOING BEYOND THAT, THE DOC AND PLAYLIST CAN CONTINUALLY BOTH BE UPDATED BY ANYONE WITH THE LINKS.

As I said, I happen to be buddies with most of the guys from this band. It's been a while but still consider the friends. Text TF all the time about hockey and his Caps. 

Chose this show since it was one of the few places that I sung the Freddy Madball part of this song. Never really saw a bad show at the Trocadero. Probably even ran into jaysus there.

Im going to cheat a little on this band since I never technically saw them at CBGBs. I did see them though so we will just roll with it. 

Talked about my band a little earlier in the thread. We werent a real band. In fact, the bassist and drummer were in the band that I just drafted. Ive told this story on this board before, but long story short. We played a battle of the bands type show to play with member of the Ramones at CBs.  We came in second and played with CJ. The winners were an actual Ramones tribute band and they got to do a small set with Joey. 

This is one of the songs we played in our set.
