i'm just glad NBC took the time to have their cameras scan both team's sidelines to find out if anyone was disrespecting America last night   now we know who to hate.

hopefully the FBI had similar cameras scanning the crowd so we can plaster the rest of the non-patriots names in their local papers. that way they can be dealt with, too.

Does anyone who is okay with the kneeling have an issue with this?
Absolutely not.  But, if it was a company that I might patronize, I would think twice about it.

I didn't though.  I would never erase a post there, never.  It's all an open book, just like I am.  I mean what I say, and say and say what I mean.  Every day, every chance I get.  Max, and Beaver, and Card Trader can say I disparaged them at that forum, I did.  I freely admit it.

You're the guy who doesn't bow their head for prayer at a funeral, who doesn't clap when your kids little league team loses but gave a great effort, and doesn't respect himself.  It's all good, seven million people on this earth and many of them don't have self-respect or respect for anything else.  I have the right to not respect that, I have earned the right to say whatever the #### I want.  Because I live in the greatest county in the world, and I don't take that for granted.
It's true.  Had some epic ones in there too.  I'm still feeling the burn you son of a #####.

The 49ers Owner Is Following Colin Kaepernick’s $1 Million Lead

Rather than distance himself from Colin Kaepernick in the wake of the quarterback’s recent decision to protest the national anthem, San Francisco 49ers owner Jed York has taken a step firmly in support of him.

The 49ers announced in a press release Thursday evening that York planned to donate $1 million to organizations working to fight inequality and improve relationships between law enforcement and the surrounding communities. To do so, he is partnering with two Bay Area foundations committed to those causes: the Silicon Valley Community Foundation and the San Francisco Foundation.

The 49ers’ full statement reads:

Today, I am committing that the 49ers Foundation will contribute $1 Million to the cause of improving racial and economic inequality and fostering communication and collaboration between law enforcement and the communities they serve here in the Bay Area.

We are partnering with the Silicon Valley Community Foundation and the San Francisco Foundation in this effort. We have chosen to work with these two organizations because they have proven track records of effecting change in the face of challenging problems and have the collective reach to make the greatest impact. Silicon Valley Community Foundation is the largest community foundation in the world, managing $7.3 billion in assets and more than 1,800 philanthropic funds globally. The San Francisco Foundation has served the people of the Bay Area since 1948, almost as long as the 49ers franchise. We are excited to work with these two renowned foundations over the coming months to develop a giving plan to help our community find unifying solutions to these pressing issues.

York’s donation matches Kaepernick’s, who said last week that he will donate the first $1 million he made this year to organizations committed to helping the inner-city community. After his jersey rocketed to No. 1 following his protest, Kaepernick announced that, in addition, he would donate all the money he receives from his jersey sales, too.

Ah yes, money, the cause of, and solution to,  all of America's problems.

Screw it, I've decided I'm not only going to stand for the National Anthem, but also for every stadium song.  We're not patriotic enough.  Next time I hear "Whoomp, There It Is" when my team scores, I'm leaping to my feet, hand over heart, visor in hand.
I was at a Super Bowl party in Scottsdale to watch the Cardinals-Steelers game and was so drunk/excited that I stood up and put my hand over my heart for "America the Beautiful". I didn't realize it wasn't the national anthem until about 30 seconds in, I also noticed I was the only one standing.

In my defense, that was the first year they instituted the America the Beautiful>National Anthem combo.

A bit too much standing for my taste.

However, besides the anthem I will make a few exceptions, and stand for things that I find respectful of this nation, like "Who Let the Dogs Out"

Of course those that don't want to stand have a right. That's what makes this country great. At the same time, I have the right to consider all those that don't stand d-bags.
This is in response to the ##### that was bragging about putting someone's head thru a wall for not standing.  You can think whatever you want of me but if you step up I will put your ### to sleep.

Don't you have more children's lives to ruin instead of posting disrespectful comments towards someone who sacrificed for this country?  You are pathetic.
What's pathetic is those of you who feel that serving entitles someone to commit battery because his poor little feelings are hurt.

And also an avowed racist...see his "personal letters"...but, I did not know he smoked cigarettes ...anyone who enjoys a good (bundle-of-sticks), is alright in my book, so that makes him a swell guy, IMO.
Well good luck finding many white people who weren't racist back then.

Kaep would have a lot more support if he didn't wear those pig/cop socks.  But he couldn't help himself.  He's not serious.  He's a poser.

lololol

You serious, Clark?

I love what the Seahawks are doing. THIS is the right way. HUGE props to them and much respect. The vast majority of people in our great country recognize that there are some serious issues that need to be fixed. Instead of demozing each other and slapping people in the face, let's do this together.

Is this the part where we discuss the relative merits of 95 South vs. Tag Team?  That harkens back to a pretty divisive time in our nation's history, and I had hoped that we had healed those wounds once and for all.

when the national anthem plays pre-Packers game today do i have to stand and salute? hand over heart? head bowed? what's the proper way to respect the flag at home? do i make my wife and kids stand at attention? do i call the local party boss if they don't?

i don't want to be caught unaware today and have something disastrous happen as a result

Stand at attention while firing your gun into the ceiling.

i think some people don't know what freedom means

it means i should be free of the tyranny of ####ty Sunday NFL pregame shows on FOX, CBS, ESPN and NFLN.

and also, free to see more of that sexy mother####er holding the flag at the Jags v Packers game today. holy moses was she a sweetheart. and a firefighter, i think.

They aren't doing it

I stood for the anthem just know while watching the Bear game.  Now I'm going to go outside and punch the first person I see that looks like an immigrant.
