"Interesting" is one way of putting it.
It'll likely be clown shoes though. Tomlin doesn't really want his quarterbacks (including SB winning, HOF-caliber ones) changing plays at the line of scrimmage, ffs. Rodgers ain't gonna abide by that (nor should he, but the fact remains it's what Tomlin greatly prefers and has implemented. That's a separate conversation entirely, regardless of who his QB is).
Tomlin also doesn't like his quarterbacks being that outspoken or providing "bulletin board material" on a weekly basis. Rodgers ain't gonna abide by that either, even if its indirectly, because he'll probably be on McAfee every Tuesday 5 seconds before Mike Tomlin's press conference fires up. Coach T looooved when "the ol' cowboy #7" was doing that locally for a little while. I'm sure it'll be an even more massive hit with Mike for it to be happening on Pat's show instead.
The Steelers don't have a quarterback right now (not a real one, anyway) and it makes sense they are kicking the tires, and that they'd legit have interest here. What doesn't make a ton of sense is how Mikey T, seemingly, is scrubbing his memory of how much he was frustrated on the regular by "end-stage Roeth" and all the stuff that came with it. Having Aaron Rodgers as his QB is going to be almost identical to that, except it'll be more advanced versions of the off field stuff that drove Tomlin nuts with Ben and potentially a lesser version on the field.
We're talking about a guy who is closer to 50 than he is to 30, has almost no lateral mobility anymore, and is more susceptible to injury just due to wear and tear. He's a narcisist which will drive this particular coach nuts (so is Tomlin, of course, but self reflection isn't exactly one of his strong points, sooo...yeah). Even with, basically, no quarterback is the juice even worth the squeeze here? They'd need to get him for, like, 20-25m for it to be worth trying it.
