What's the argument in favor?I'm going to bring up something that hasn't been brought up yet when talking about Cam Newton. In 2 years, he'll be eligible for the Hall of Fame. That's the same year that Ben Roethlisberger will be eligible as well. We all know Big Ben is going in, but does Cam get in as well?

Exactly what I was thinking. What did Cam do in his career that's HOF worthy even? What's the argument in favor?I'm going to bring up something that hasn't been brought up yet when talking about Cam Newton. No. He had one great year (by NFL standards, not fantasy football standards), never won a Super Bowl, and didn't have longevity. And the most memorable play of his career for many is him not jumping on a loose ball in the Super Bowl (on a play where he was sacked and fumbled).I'm going to bring up something that hasn't been brought up yet when talking about Cam Newton. Not saying he is a hall offame, but he had one of the best seasons a collge qb could have, carrying a mediocre Auburn team to a title. ,
Oh come onHe will absolutely be in the NFL Hall of Fame*
*provided he buys a ticket like any other fan taking a tour.

Don't they include both college and pro or am I thinking of basketball?

Surely there was one post-game outfit so outrageous that thete’s a mannequin wearing it next to the Pete Rose plaque or something.Doesn't the HoF save certain significant game balls or jerseys from historic moments. IDK, like Marino's Jersey from the season he set the passing yardage record?
Did Cam have a moment they may have enshrined the game ball from?

Basketball accounts for everything: college, pro, international. For Canton it's officially the Pro Football Hall of Fame so it only covers the pro level. What does that have to do with the NFL though?Exactly what I was thinking. Yep. People around here hate when you mention it, but that is his defining play in the NFL.No. He had one great year (by NFL standards, not fantasy football standards), never won a Super Bowl, and didn't have longevity.
