ESPN's John Clayton expects Chiefs QB Matt Cassel (questionable, appendectomy) to be active for Week 15.

It's looking more and more likely that Cassel will be active against the Rams. Cassel is just 11 days removed from his appendectomy, so expect the team to monitor his on-field performance closely.

For those Bowe owners watching Cassel's status, Josh Looney will have inactives in about 15 minutes on Twitter. Now whether he starts...

From Rotoworld:

ESPN's Mike Sando speculates that "[Matt] Cassel does not appear on track to start against the Rams" after watching the quarterback in pre-game warmups.

Brodie Croyle would draw the start if Cassel is inactive. The Chiefs play at 1:00 ET, so inactive lists should come out within the next twenty minutes.

Kansas City Inactives

Summary: QB Tyler Palko (3rd QB), FB Mike Cox, C Rudy Niswanger, DT Anthony Toribio, LB Charlie Anderson, CB Mike Richardson, S Reshard Langford, S Ricky Price

With the inactives above, is it safe to assume that KC coaches feel comfortable going with only 2? (See Palko, Inactive)

Palko can still play, but it he is put into the game before the 4th quarter then the other 2 QBs would be disqualified for the rest of the game.

Eisen just said Cassel is starting.

After the stats they showed of Big Bens first 2 games back from an appendectomy, I would not trust him in fantasy, let alone doing anything to help his team win this game.
