Ran a 10k - Official Thread (14 Viewers)

I’m already in as individual but would switch to team to help our odds.
If you want in, I'm happy to add you.  I'll text you.

I've never even entered Berlin before so I'm pretty clueless about this.  It does say this, "Multiple registrations are not possible: If you register in a team and as an individual runner, your individual registration will be deleted!"

As we've got some cyclists in here and Peloton enthusiasts, has anyone ever used or encountered one of these elliptical bikes before?

I'm wondering how this would be for recovery days or just to do something different that is still similar to running.

How to ride
we’ve seen a few here on the greenways

for pregnant and elderly people, I think these can be great.
i don’t plan to be either any time soon so I’ll pass

last time around doing this, which I think was earlier this year, I am like 95% sure I did 200 one day trying to do some catch up. it is silly how bad my arms/shoulders hurt right now.

definitely overdid it day one. DOMS in full effect today. oof.

This is how I felt after running for the first time yesterday. I went outside after the lunch workout today and jogged just to see what would happen and my groin/abs were immediately not as happy as yesterday. Nothing that worries me as every 2-3 days for the time being is what I expected, but it was humbling. Gonna be a looong road...

I'll be trying out the Achilles on Saturday for the first time in a long time.

With one of you  :ninja:

Wow. NO cutoff for Boston 2022. For the first time since 2013, everyone was accepted.

Full announcement here.

What does this mean for the future? Does it mean I have some hope for my January marathon!?!? 2:55 is out of the question, but if I run a perfect race, 3:05 may be doable.

I think you should plan on being at least 5 minutes under your standard.  Anything less than that is still a crapshoot:  (you should see how the weather is for 2022 Boston.  The largest number of BQ’s for any given year is the previous Boston Marathon.  So if it’s brutally hot, that will make fewer BQs coming from Boston.)

Thanks for raining on my parade.
