Reminds me of my future prediction that eventually fantasy football will surpass football itself in popularity, and then people will start making fantasy fantasy football leagues, where you draft the fantasy football drafters that you think will draft the best.

I mean correct me if Im wrong but the Saints RB depth chart consists of a 30 year old RB with a ton of mileage on him, a rookie with 3 career carries and a converted WR on his third team in 3 years. Estime doesn't have a lot to overcome to see playing time.

I mean correct me if Im wrong but the Saints RB depth chart consists of a 30 year old RB with a ton of mileage on him, a rookie with 3 career carries and a converted WR on his third team in 3 years. Estime doesn't have a lot to overcome to see playing time.

Right- the guy's barely 22 years old and comes with a 19 year old breakout age. I've taken one shot and plan to take another if he's still out there Saturday.

Amazing, is it not? I've taken my lumps on Skattebo like I generally always do. I loved his jumps but his forty was terrible. He still won't break a ton of long ones, but that doesn't matter for what he is and what he now means to that team. Tracy got a lot of run this weekend in Denver for a team with Skattebo, though, so look for that.

I was going to analyze it, but a) who needs my analysis and b) I feel like warmed over garbage today and the thought process is not as sharp as I'd like

But yeah, I hoped for Tracy b/c I rostered him as my RB2 and disclosed that pretty much everywhere I said it to the point of being redundant. Skattebo is, as we speak, the back the Giants would prefer and he's probably a better back for a wide majority of teams.

Estime doesn't have much in front of him. Miller was excellent at forcing missed and broken tackles this year. Neal is not as athletic, but spaces well and should be good to go if his athleticism holds up. Estime is not fast and probably lacks the physical attributes to make it work, but if he does get volume for whatever reason, he will be valuable.

Fun Fact: His name was flashed during the ND vs USC game last weekend. Jerimiyah Love set his personal single game rushing record at 228 yards.

Estime is still above him on the ND all-time single game rushing list with 238 vs Stanford in 2023.

The Steelers and Ravens dont need RB, but on those teams he could be menace to defenses. But looks like his career is over before it ever started. Big dude with quick feet.

I'd say after the top 50-60 Running backs in the NFL they are all just guys at that point. It comes down to what flavor teams want to be their RB3. The talent difference between a team's RB3 and someone on the street isn't THAT significant.

We've seen over the years how much RB value has dropped in drafts. If you aren't getting a game changer, grab one in the 6th or 7th round. Best thing going for Estime is the situation he is walking in to. I see a path to playing time that doesn't require an injury. There is no one else on my Dynasty WW who I can say the same about.
