RB Kyle Monangai, CHI (1 Viewer)

After the Draft and when Godwin was allowed to be on IR, I picked up Kyle Monangai as a FA (no $ bid).
Now I am getting trade offers for him ... News reports are all Promising for the boy from Rutgers!

Deebo for Monangai even (reject)
Then followed up Deebo & 4th for Monangai (Reject).

Then I get Jaydon Blue for Monangai (Reject - Dallas is going wrong direction).
Today I got Will Shipley & Okonkwo offer... (Reject , non-PPR)

I just don't know what his value is today. I need starting RB so he is a prime hold for me.
I mean he barely makes Top 250 ranking, but the Chicago Offense is moving the right direction.
Current RB - CMC, A Jones, Mr Bill JCM, Kaleb Johnson, Tahj Brooks, Keaton Mitchell

I mean he was 7th round pick 233 (Is that close enuf for semi-Irrelevant?)

Dude, you should make a deal before he actually runs in a game and people figure this out . . .

I'd probably take Blue, but maybe holding out is a good thing. Deebo is a nothingburger. So is Shipley. Where is the appeal in either him or Okonkwo?

Anyway, I know this is unsolicited but you obviously want feedback or wouldn't have posted. I really wish I hadn't heard Blue was lazy from coaches or I'd tell you unequivocally to hammer the accept on that one.

I would have accepted everyone of those offers I think

You know, I would have done the Deebo deal on any team but my Zealots team. That said, I know how it is when Birdie says he needs RBs so I went with that in mind. I disagree with you about Shipley. That strikes me as a huge nothingburger (until Saquon gets hurt).

He has CMC, Aaron Jones, JCM, Kaleb Johnson, etc. This is a RB group built to win now. Deebo is a win now WR. Monangi is most likely a win now RB too (that is being generous, likely a win never back). Do we really see a big future for him? As for Shipley, doesn't feel much different than Monangai except he's on an elite offense. Plus Chig is still sort of maybe interesting with Cam Ward.

that was a manufactured BS story.

Blue has a chance to take over the backfield based on performance. I don't think Monangai can do that. Inference being I think Swift's role is safe unless Monangai is HOF caliber. Javonte Williams might not keep the role through the first game. So I'd probably have taken that deal fast. And it would be hard to say no to Deebo but I get it. I'd seriously look at the other person's assets and look for a deal though.

depends how much you believe in Ben Johnson. Can he be Monty in the BJ offense? Possibly.
He is going to get a chance to be that guy. Roschon has that chance as well but it seems to have gone the rookie's way if we're reading the tea leaves correctly.

I appreciate the feedback and unsolicited advice. It was semi solicited

Deebo is his WR6 in start 2 & 2 Flex. He only has RBs: Judkins/Sampson & Pollard (Start 2 RB, non-PPR)
But his WR are a whole level better
ASRB, KColeman, JDowns, Golden, Pearsall, Egubka.
I am negotiating Kaleb/ Monangai for Downs deal. Other moving parts too. He is big Chicago fan it appears.
