RB Chris Carson, SEA - 10.7.21 - Neck Issue (3 Viewers)

WTF is he still running the GD ball in this game.  Effin Carroll.

So much for the SEA running game.

You took a wrong turn at Albuquerque.
Did I....the best part about a lottery ticket is cashing it.......WINNING!

Original post:::::::::::

Love the guy, but traded him and watkins for howard and golden tate....trying to rid myself of seahawks and rams....although now I have a bears player..hmmm

Fair warning: I'm probably going to have to start this guy in both my leagues this week due to various injuries. This pretty much guarantees that he'll have some sort of catastrophic injury in the middle of the 2nd quarter, something like the ghost of **** Night Train Lane drops a derelict oil rig on his kidneys. The gooch is on.
Well, sorry guys. Started him in both my leagues this week, and was going to lean on him for the rest of the season.

Its a long season so anything can happen. Im not confident Carson can continue at the carry/touch load he is at considering he hasn't done it ever......Im going to be skeptical till I see it for a season. I also think his week 2 performance was a bit overblown. Majority of the game he averaged 3ypc.....had a few long runs at the end of that game that made things look better than they were. Im not the coach (clearly) but I would be running far less singleback/empty formations, more sets w/ FB...and I would use Lacy as I don't think he is washed up.
This was a concern ... too bad for the kid. Still think Lacy has it in him to be good. Not sure why he was on the field.

No way he sees the field again this season.
Yeah, it was awful.  If you watched the replay you can totally see his body and leg going in one direction while his left foot goes in another.  I think a complete break of something.  He is done.

What I want to know is what in the world was he doing in the game with 6 minutes to go and a 21 point lead?  Leave the mop up duty to Lacy and the McKissic kid.  Once again, Pete Carroll is too smart for himself.  Bet he regrets that dumb move.

Edited to add:

Perhaps not!

#ChrisCarson early good news! One more hurdle: Need to make sure syndesmotic ligament not completely torn to avoid surgery. #FingersCrossed

No knee damage and no broken bones on Carson. If you guys saw the replay on TV, it's a freaking miracle you're looking at high ankle sprain.

Wow if true.  That looked awful.

With Rawls, Lacy, McKissic and Procise still on the roster, its amazing Seattle still has depth. Now who to target on the ww

Trying to figure this out in dynasty...tough spot but unfortunately he's probably a drop.
Unless you have IR spots to give.  I personally have my IR spots taken with the likes of Jake Butt and Rico Gathers, so I won't be dropping them to put Carson on the IR.

My IR spots are taken up by DJ / White / ARob in a 2 man keeper ... depending on MRI, will probably drop White or ARob for him.

https://www.seattletimes.com/sports/seahawks/seahawks-standout-rookie-chris-carson-carted-off-field-with-apparent-knee-injury/

“With Chris banged up we’re so fortunate to have Thomas ready to jump back out there,’’ Carroll said. “We’re just lucky that we have a guy like that who’s ready to go and is healthy and all that.’’

I feel terrible that this happened to him, but the whole situation with Seattle and Carroll's history with his RBs was exactly why I was selling him where I could...
