Chris Carson rushed 16 times for 91 yards, catching all three of his targets for 26 yards in Seattle's 28-16 Week 1 win over the Colts.
Carson handled 19 of Seattle's 23 backfield touches, out-carrying both Rashaad Penny (calf) and DeeJay Dallas 16-3. It's the exact type of workload one would expect after Russell Wilson championed the front office to re-sign Carson to a two-year, $14.6 million contract in March. With Penny already suffering from a first-quarter injury, Carson will undoubtedly be ranked as a fringe-RB1 with a full allotment of touches to himself in Week 2 against Minnesota.
Chris Carson rushed 13 times for 31 yards and two touchdowns in the Seahawks' Week 2 loss to the Titans.
Carson handled 13-of-14 carries out of the backfield but wasn't targeted in the passing game. However, Carson did save his fantasy day with a pair of short touchdowns from one and two yards out in the second quarter. Carson has absolutely dominated backfield work through two weeks. He's a borderline RB1/2 headed into a Week 3 date with the Vikings.

Chris Carson rushed 12 times for 80 yards and a touchdown and caught 2 passes for 2 yards in the Seahawks' Week 3 loss to the Vikings.
Carson briefly exited the game with an unknown injury but returned after a short stay on the sidelines and didn't appear limited in any way. After looking sluggish in Week 2, Carson returned to form versus the Vikings, breaking off multiple long runs including a 30-yard scamper that ended with a touchdown. Through three weeks, Carson has just five catches to his name. That will prevent him from posting elite fantasy numbers but he can get by through carries and efficiency. He comes in as a high-end RB2 versus the 49ers next week.
Guy is so good but 12 carries? I'm pretty sure he had 10 or 11 at the half. Weird usage. Would have loved to see him get a few more, could have had a huge day.
This is the fourth season I've had CC on my roster and every year there seems to be a new reason as to why he's going to fail. They drafted Rashad Penny, no really Penny's taking over, RBBC, health...and yet he just keeps chugging along as a solid RB2 who occasionally gives you RB1 numbers.
He's currently RB7 in my standard scoring league - great RB2 and he's value every year.
They're playing the Jets. If there were ever a game to put Mike Davis in, this is it.Yikes
dude is melodramatic and tends to err on the side of sky is falling. That said I have watched his clips on occasion. Not sure who Fantasy Doctors are ( @Joe Bryant maybe you can shed some light if they're legit in the industry or not) but they have done a video speculating on Carson's possible injury.

All this guy's opinion but according to their about page, he is a licensed medical professional. They have 50k subs on YouTube and have been around since 2015. Take it for what it is.

Yeah it kind of makes you want to puke. I avoided him everywhere but took him in one league at 6.10 as RB28. He is RB29 in that league so I guess that is good value. Even though he sucks and that team is losing. But a lot of people took him in the 4th. He was on my DND list but I couldn't help it at 6.10 in *one* redraft.Yikes
Dr. Jesse Morse is a legit sports medicine doc with an ortho group in Miami. Some may find the ads and promotions annoying, but they're not that long. I find Dr. Morse's videos informative, discussing a range of likely outcomes. He wasn't too worried about Ekeler before game 1, which was a good prediction. I started following Jesse Morse after the JK Dobbins injury. He was early and accurate with informed speculation about the ACL.Not sure who Fantasy Doctors are ( @Joe Bryant maybe you can shed some light if they're legit in the industry or not) but they have done a video speculating on Carson's possible injury.

Where does all this put Collins when it comes to the backups/cuffs now in action?"Chris Carson has a chronic, long-term neck injury...He's probably not going to play on Thursday." @CorbinSmithNFL on Fantasy Dirt @SiriusXMFantasy
They are real doctors and very legit...It seems Carson is dealing with a herniated disc and has been dealing with it for a while. He could be shut down for a few weeks or just miss this one week. I'd be shocked if he played this week. Not sure who Fantasy Doctors are ( @Joe Bryant maybe you can shed some light if they're legit in the industry or not) but they have done a video speculating on Carson's possible injury.

Collins definitely had fumbling problems in the past. If that continues then he's fools gold. But it's possible he's improved in that area.I'm a Carson owner and Collins is still on waivers. Would you drop Latavius Murray for Collins? I'm on the fence here. Could use some opinions on that one. thank you.
Any way you could do a quick trade and get something for Murray, then pick up Collins? Murray + a WR for an upgrade at WR?I'm a Carson owner and Collins is still on waivers. Would you drop Latavius Murray for Collins? I'm on the fence here. Could use some opinions on that one. thank you.
Yeah, the news came late Tuesday afternoon; and even then, sometimes that just could be seen as veteran rest, although with a Thursday game it’s concerning. And the news has been very cryptic and people around here and on Twitter are extrapolating a lot with very little info.this entire Carson situation is very odd and I'm not sure why it's not being discussed like Montgomery's injury. Williams was a hot WW pickup this week but there's no talk of Collins. I was able to snag Collins in 2 leagues after waivers ran. I guess it's just due to the fact that it popped up during the week.

Chris Carson (neck) is inactive for Week 5 against the Rams.
"Neck" didn't seem like a body part that was terribly likely to be overcome on a short week. The fact that Carson has avoided injured reserve, at least so far, does bode well for his odds of a Week 6 return. In his Thursday night absence, Alex Collins will be the Seahawks' early-down leader against a Rams defense that has been giving on the ground. Collins should see enough touches to get himself in the RB2 mix, though Travis Homer could steal some carries while perhaps/probably operating as the primary passing-down back.

Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said it's "too early to tell" if Chris Carson (neck) will play in Week 6.
Carson missed Week 5 with Seattle playing on a short week. The Seahawks took his status to game-time before ruling him out, and the fact he hasn't been placed on IR gives hope he can return after missing only one game. With Russell Wilson sidelined, Carson figures to be the centerpiece of Seattle's offense if he returns in Week 6.

They aren't required to say anything until WednesdaySo, what's the deal with Carson? They've been radio silent on everything since Thursday.
