Nah, that dude was pretty adamant I was wrong and made some insults so alls fair..........You've been doing this since Josh Gordon threads - you have to have grown up a little right? I mean that was like 8 years ago or so?

I dont care. Ignore me then. Because I really dont careUnless you have some expertise on his injury, you just look small in these posts.

Pretty much I would agreeBro, for all intents and purposes this dudes season as a fantasy player is done.
Only a matter of time until Ekeler is hurt as well. He tore his hamstring up last year, unless he is on the juice this year (have you seen him shirtless?) lolonly King Henry can handle these next level amount of RB touches....everyone else seems to crumble the following season
I'm sorry that I was mean in response to this earlier this season. Now that he's out again I'm starting to think you're onto something here about the girlfriend and living large / constant banging lol.
I know it's highly speculative but I think your point has some value now that he's missing another game!
New 3 week clock starts with Week 6. Must be out 6, 7, 8.Is this retroactive or the clock starts now?
Whats worse is the Panthers couldve had a depth piece active and maybe Influence the game last week. NFL is literally that small on the margins.New 3 week clock starts with Week 6. Must be out 6, 7, 8.
I doubt you’re getting a discount in dynasty regardless of the teams situation. He’s still young and should age given he catches the ball well. What kind of return are contending dynasty owners looking for? And also rebuilders?
Fantasy wise. 10. Done.So on a scale of 1 to 10, how done is he for the year?

Well playoffs are 7 teams this year. They are right on that edge though the Minnesota loss doesn't help.6.5. I think they'll shut him down the week they realize the playoffs are out of reach. If he's 100% healthy he'll play on but any slight nagging injury will sideline him for just for precaution alone. Rhule is building for the future and is not on the hot seat to win right now. Risking Christian this year is not in his best interest. He also knows the mileage already saddled to CMC and his legs.
10/24 - @ Giants (never seem to play well there but could win)Well playoffs are 7 teams this year. They are right on that edge though the Minnesota loss doesn't help.
Regardless, I think he enters a time share when he returns. If you are the Carolina coaching staff - you are probably looking at his frame and thinking he isn't built to withstand the punishment an entire season will deliver. If he enters a timeshare of even 70/30 - his value does go down. I'm of the mindset to get out of aging/depleting assets before the value is gone and am looking to unload him. Any idea what selling high on CMC looks like?dipandglide said:I doubt you’re getting a discount in dynasty regardless of the teams situation. have a trade in the works (I mentioned above) to get him and Beckham Jr (throw in) for Melvin Gordon, Lamb, and Waddle. Not sure if that’s selling high or low. Not sure what to do.Regardless, I think he enters a time share when he returns. CMC is a world beater when he is healthy. I think that is buying low - which I definitely recommend you do.have a trade in the works (I mentioned above) to get him and Beckham Jr (throw in) for Melvin Gordon, Lamb, and Waddle. Not sure if that’s selling high or low. Not sure what to do.
I would probably make that trade if I had CMC. Lamb is potentially as good at WR as CMC is at RB (given the injury issues) - Waddle is a. nice get, too.have a trade in the works (I mentioned above) to get him and Beckham Jr (throw in) for Melvin Gordon, Lamb, and Waddle. This comes up year after year with coaches managing star players reps as it becomes clear they are playing out games in a lost season. But is there anything statistical to back this up? I feel a healthy star players tend to play football regardless of the team's status. Maybe there are a handful of clear examples of a similar scenario where a start player returned mid-season after injury and the team was already out of it so the coaching staff reduced their reps, but that just seems odd to me. You either totally IR them (why even risk practice?) or you play them as normal.6.5. I think they'll shut him down the week they realize the playoffs are out of reach. CMC went for Carson and AB this morning, in my redraft league. In case anybody is trying to gauge current value. I feel like that was a steal for CMC, and wish I'd known he was on the market.
Yeah, that’s a bargain.CMC went for Carson and AB this morning, in my redraft league. In case anybody is trying to gauge current value. I feel like that was a steal for CMC, and wish I'd known he was on the market.
Both teams are 3-3.That's just not enough. Another RB who has a probably more debilitating career threatening injury, and I guess a top-24 WR, AB is amazing.
CMC owner got hosed, unless he was 0-5 or something
3rd rounder in next years FF drafts?
Barkley went in the late first this year for reference. CMC will definitely still be a first. Not a chance. Name value combined with nostalgia will keep him in the first round (early 2nd at absolute worst) for at least the next couple of years.
Agreed. That is a trash offer for CMC. Carson might not be back, so you’re basically dealing him for AB. Can’t see the point in that unless you are just stacked at RB and have nobody at WR.That's just not enough. Another RB who has a probably more debilitating career threatening injury, and I guess a top-24 WR, AB is amazing.

Split backfield likely and he’s injury riddled and the O Line will still not be all that muchNot a chance. Name value combined with nostalgia will keep him in the first round (early 2nd at absolute worst) for at least the next couple of years.
Interesting to see his value in redraft. Was just offered CMC for Mixon.
I'm 6-0, seller is 0-6.

If you have anything decent as backup at RB I'd consider that trade. At 6-0 you can afford to look ahead at the playoffs. He could be a difference-maker and you can afford to take the risk. Give it real thought.Interesting to see his value in redraft. Was just offered CMC for Mixon.

Thanks, Yeah, I'm looking at it, but I think I'm just too weak at RB.If you have anything decent as backup at RB I'd consider that trade. At 6-0 you can afford to look ahead at the playoffs. He could be a difference-maker and you can afford to take the risk. Give it real thought.
I'm pretty much on the other side of this and was considering offering Mixon for CMC. I am 2-4 and have only Kamara and Davis otherwise. It's pretty much season-defining risk and I don't think I have the stomach for it.Thanks, Yeah, I'm looking at it, but I think I'm just too weak at RB.
Mixon, Jacobs, Drake, Perine, D'Ernest Johnson. Start 2 RB's and a flex which I've been flexing with a WR.
Although it would be great to have CMC if he comes back, I'm very weak while he is out and if he doesn't come back.
Nothing. I drafted well enough that I can afford to wait for him for a playoff run. I have Mixon/Henderson & Chubba at Flex (traded for him week 2) & JaWill in reserve. So when CMC comes back nice & rested for my weeks 9-17 or whatever I get from him, it will just be an excellent asset to get without giving up anything. What are the CMC owners looking for in return in redraft?
Split backfield likely and he’s injury riddled and the O Line will still not be all that much
how long did it take for David Johnson to fall off the map?
maybe somebody bites in the second…..
It was great when they had to feed him every play, but now they have DJ Moore and Hubbard and Tremble and etc. He is just a piece and not WR1/TE1.
early second for a guy you have zero confidence in actually playing and when he does, it will be on a pitch count? No thanks
