Does anyone really doubt him? He was a late first early second round pick and the only running backs going ahead of him are on good teams with good offenses. Switch teams with Barkley, Gibbs , Bijan, CmC and he would be in discussion for first overall pick.

There was considerable doubt on Achane leading up to drafts, at least more than there should have been. The leg injury was getting so blown up with people comparing him to CMC of last year. Then were was the fact Gordon looked good in preseason and people were panicking. Add in the fact Tua's health can't be relied on and Achane was deemed one of the riskiest picks in the draft.

I agree if Achane was on a competent O then he'd be a top 3-5 selection all day.

Like I said earlier I wish he was taking those nice 10-15 yard gains to the house like he did when he first got on the scence.

I wonder how much of this has to do with Hill and Waddle not being great blockers outside? At least the Dolphins OL looked more capable last night. That should bode well for him.

Recently became a shareholder in an offer I could not refuse. The total volume of touches is nice. But Tua looked flustered vs Buff.
The upcoming schedule looks soft (excluding LAC) so maybe there is more offensive explosive plays forthcoming

Great for PPR .. I tried to acquire Achane in dynasty yesterday and was told I needed to give up Njigba, Flowers, and Bill. While my team is deep enough to do that deal, I couldn't believe the asking price.

To expand on run blocking in 2025. There are basically 5 tiers so far:
Elite run blocking=LA Rams
Good run blocking=Panthers, Bills, Lions, Colts
Bad run blocking=Dolphins, Chargers
Awful run blocking=Bengals

I think that was in response to a taunting penalty. But yeah, he also makes bad decisions by not taking what’s given/ trying to turn everything into a big gainer.

As for Achane, I don’t know that Seattle is a good fit for him fantasy-wise. They simply haven’t been throwing the ball to their RBs, which is Achane’s bread and butter. But maybe that’s because they think KWIII and Charbs suck in the passing game and that’s part of why they want Achane?

Yes, he was having a PPR dream game in the first half until the offense totally went to shambles in the second half. The loss of Tyreek has been huge - kudos for Achane for still producing when teams are totally keying on him.

Last year the only RB who was better in PPG in fantasy then Achane, when he at least had Tua, was Barkley.

Tua can not be a great QB but still be good for someone like Achane and all those things were true last year, bad OL and bad D.

I can't say I think there is a single situation right now I'd prefer him to be in other then the one he's in now. After this season that's probably not the case.

This seems like a “needs” move. If you’re rolling out Tua each week and have good RB depth, then go for it. It’s definitely a fair offer.
