agreed. Gonna try Landry lolThe guy getting Freeman just ripped those other dudes off.Just went for TY Hilton in one league and for Emmanuel Sanders in another.
I wouldn't even consider either of those guys. Sanders is finished because Manning is finished. The guy getting Freeman just ripped those other dudes off.Just went for TY Hilton in one league and for Emmanuel Sanders in another.
Because your super-charger gives you a bunch of horse power is not a reason not to upgrade your exhaust. If John Fox was the HC, you can take it to the bank that he would screw #### up by platooning the guy, not ever series but every other play. The guy is too stupid to stay with something that works. I think this coaching staff is smart enough to leave what works alone until it doesn't work. Sure Coleman will get in there but right now as long as Freeman produces in the run and pass game, I can't see these guys changing it.I don't exactly know what you could get for him, but when posters on this thread start comparing him to Tomlinson, makes me think you could get somebody pretty damn good.Deamon said:Why? No one is going to give up a Peterson/Charles type player for him. No one expects 3tds/game, but if you own him, ride him as long as you can and you'll probably keep stacking up valuable wins. He's an extremely cheap RB1 at LEAST until coleman is back.cloppbeast said:He's a sell high if I've ever seen one.
Plus, what's the situation when Coleman gets back? Lots of people think Freeman continues to get the lions share, but I'm not so sure. Definitely the starter, but what's the split?
I wouldn't have pulled the trigger, but let's see at the end of the season. The guy getting Freeman just ripped those other dudes off.Just went for TY Hilton in one league and for Emmanuel Sanders in another.
jesus. who are your WRs?Just traded Freeman, Coleman, and Demaryius Thomas for Jamaal Charles. Might have overpaid, but I now have AP, Charles and Gurley at RB.
Marshall and TY Hilton. RB WR WR FLEX FLEX. I'll be rolling AP, Charles, Gurley, Marshall, and Hiltonpbandy1 said:jesus. who are your WRs?Squintz82 said:Just traded Freeman, Coleman, and Demaryius Thomas for Jamaal Charles. Might have overpaid, but I now have AP, Charles and Gurley at RB.
Skins run D is severely overrated. Look at who they've played.Be careful, Skins run D is actually pretty good. I'd still think of him as top 10 this week though considering the combination of touches and likely red zone opportunities, along with how good he's been as well.
Skins run defense has been good for a while; one of the lone bright spots on the team. Given the crapfest last season they still managed to be a top-10 run defense unit, which is kind of amazing given how many plays the opponents were able to run.Skins run D is severely overrated. PART of the reason these teams have struggled so much is because they've had to play a good washington run d. I agree they may be overrated at the #2 in the NFL as they are ranked currently though. But they are still top 10 even if you do give them a big downgrade based on matchups.Skins run D is severely overrated. Look at who they've played.Be careful, Skins run D is actually pretty good. I actually dropped him and he was floating around on FCFS waivers for a day and then I picked him back up.Could not give him away in one of my dynasty leagues after Coleman was drafted. Glad no one was interested.
well, the only ones I won the last two weeks have had him in there.I feel like if I put this guy in all my Fanduel lineups this week, I'm gonna lose money. Which would be typical for me.
No idea how good this run D is. Miami and Philly need asterisks next to them. Miami because they didn't even try. They are padding every teams run D stats. Philly because their OL totally blows. Starting Freeman regardless because he can catch it out of the backfield.PART of the reason these teams have struggled so much is because they've had to play a good washington run d. Trade accepted!I just offered him, Eifert, and DeVante Parker for AJ Green and DeAngelo Williams. I suspect I will get rejected, but it's a very even swap according to both FBG and our website (CBS.) I should note, this league is not TE-required, so Eifert counts as a WR.i have him in redraft and have tried to trade him for the past 2 weeks (before yesterdays game) with 0 bites.I think FF stats are affecting the way folks are viewing him to some degree. He's a had a really really good 2 game stretch in all respects. But those 6 TDs have folks viewing him like the next Tomlinson, and I don't think that's what he is. If I had him, I'd be looking to cash out honestly. Not that he sucks or has no value going forward - far from it. Good young back on a great team tearing it up. But you can get the world for him right now, and I'd try to do it. Maybe target one of the top WRs in the game from a team that has an RB need.
let's see if any offers come my way this week lol
Im not sure of your league rules....but that guy got an RB1, TE1, and WR with upside for a WR1. It was a good deal for both of us. His team sucks nards; he was starting McFadden at RB, so he was desperate. Freeman is a huge upgrade for him even splitting carries. From my end, it's not a TE required league so Eifert was a WR3-4 rather than a TE1. I hadn't started him once this year. Parker, I had to drop by Sunday anyway in order to activate Martavis Bryant, so he was a pot sweetener. I have Le'Veon (which is why I wanted DeAngelo as a handcuff) as well as Joseph Randle and Mark Ingram, so I'm pretty solid at RB even without Freeman (no flex.) Now I can roll out Beckham, AJ Green, and either Mike Evans, Martavis Bryant, or John Brown at WR with Bell and either Randle or Ingram at RB.Im not sure of your league rules....but that guy got an RB1, TE1, and WR with upside for a WR1. Except the better power back is also the better receiving back.Freeman/Coleman will be very similar to Gio/Hill whenever the rookie gets back.
That's my thinking as well. Could be wrong, but that's why I made the trade. Sell high and hope it doesn't blow up in my face.Freeman/Coleman will be very similar to Gio/Hill whenever the rookie gets back.
Trade the #1 RB in fantasy through 4 weeks at your own risk.Hmm just got offered him and JBrown for DT, the same EXACT trade I was thinking about offering. Still everything about Freeman screams sell high.
I don't get this strategy either. I'd rather ride the guy and if he flounders, no big deal. If you trade him and he becomes the next Priest Holmes, you end up kicking yourself in the ###.Trade the #1 RB in fantasy through 4 weeks at your own risk.Hmm just got offered him and JBrown for DT, the same EXACT trade I was thinking about offering. What's his normal self? 1 Year in as a backup is enough to say he will never be more?humpback said:And if he goes back to his old self while the guy you could have traded for him does well, you end up kicking yourself in the ###.lod01 said:I don't get this strategy either. Where did I say he will never be more? Just giving the other side of the coin- of course there is potential downside in not selling him high. What's his normal self? 1 Year in as a backup is enough to say he will never be more?humpback said:And if he goes back to his old self while the guy you could have traded for him does well, you end up kicking yourself in the ###.lod01 said:I don't get this strategy either. 2014:
65 Attempts - 248 yards - 1 TD
30 of 37 reception - 225 yards - 1 TD
Hope you are not a CMike follower at all....
Tell me about it. No response from listing him in my trade bait and I even offered him to the Coleman owner for a 2016 2nd and his response was "I am not interested in RB handcuffs."Could not give him away in one of my dynasty leagues after Coleman was drafted. Glad no one was interested.
Thats NOT the case. Freeman and Coleman were both injured for the majority of the preseason. Coleman came back the last week and did well, Freeman didn't come back. They then gave Coleman the nod week 1. Freeman was just getting healthy and back into shape week 2 when Coleman went out.The fear is that the coaches watched both Freeman and Coleman for several weeks. The coaches decided Coleman was the better RB and got the starting job week 1. So what do the coaches think now? That's the key.
I definitely think he eats into Freeman's carries and in the next few weeks maybe even to 50-50.
No they didnt. Coleman only got the top of thew depth chart at the very last moment (Sept 8th) because Freeman couldn't practice/play in preseason. That only lasted a couple weeks. The fear is that the coaches watched both Freeman and Coleman for several weeks. The coaches decided Coleman was the better RB and got the starting job week 1. Freeman and Coleman both returned to practice on Monday, August 17th, a full month before the 1st game. Freeman was fully healthy and in shape for that game. Coleman outplaying him had nothing to do with Freeman working himself back into shape or still being injured. Because of Freeman's success the last two weeks, they likely aren't going to rush Coleman back before the ribs are healed.Thats NOT the case. Had both been healthy all preseason there is no telling what would have happened. Freeman has now taken the job.
