RB Isaac Guerendo, SF (1 Viewer)

All things considered, 11 points in PPR leagues is not horrible if you started him. Could have been a lot worse given how that game played out.
Didn’t kill ya. Didn’t win you the week.

Seeing as many of the QBs and WRs and even Kittle did diddly last night… I think Guerendo starters have to be happy with these results.

So it looks like he's starting
You feel confident he'll finish the game?
You putting him in your lineup?
if not who's your backup?
I start him or plug in Jayden Reed .
I’m sitting him for 3 other RBs that are ranked above him in FBG rankings. One (James Cook) I don’t feel 100% great about but he’s been good every other game and it’s propped to be high scoring.

I’m favored in my matchup, so I’ll take a safer floor I think.

I’m also going against Kittle tonight, so if Gurendo is getting yards or tds, at least I can take solace in the fact that they aren’t going to Kittle.

If he pops off on my bench, so be it. But I’m too uneasy about his workload.
Cook’s floor could be very low if the Bills get behind in Detroit.
Cook has receiving skills
I know, but they don’t really use him in that role anymore.

Pretty solid considering SF scored 6 and Purdy scored 4
I started him not knowing what his workload would be, never been so happy with a mediocre effort. Helps I faced Kupp
I agree. To put this in perspective he did as well as you can expect given how bad that game was offensively. I started Purdy in one league
Rough FF for sure. Have Puka in another league and happy he came out with what he did. Might have had a long TD on the 51 yarder if Stafford would had led him a little bit more…but again happy to come out with what I did.

Yep.....you could have been like me and started Kupp and his big fat zero

Same here. :)
I was hoping my opponent wouldn't start him last night. I was hoping he'd be too cautious after Guerendo's foot injury and go with a lesser RB on Sunday. I am very relieved with the way things turned out. I was expecting a high-scoring game and a huge night against me.

Trust me, you're not the only one who's relieved.

Those on the previous page who said "starting him in the flex" didn't actually start him in the flex position, right?
I did

If you have the option to start someone in an early game in either their specific position or a flex position, ALWAYS start them in the specific position to retain flexibility in the event of unexpected inactives. If you have three viable RBs, three viable WRs then junk and start Guerendo in the flex, and then one of your other RB tweaks his hamstring pre game, you're ****ed. If you start Guerendo as a RB, you're fine.

Sounds like Guerendo out.

Patrick Taylor? Israel Abanikanda?
Deebo
He's been terrible for a long time. He appears to be cooked.

Doesn't mean he doesn't get the ball.

Yes, agree. Glad I don't roster him anywhere.

Is he droppable if you need the roster spot? Hamstring injuries are often multi-week. Next week SF plays the Lions, which would have been a stay away earlier in the season but may not be anymore with all the injuries.

I have him and Kamara, and while the latter is far less likely to play this season, it's so hard to drop a stud like Kamara until you know for sure he's out. Don't have the same fear with Guerendo, but I'm still worried I drop him and then he's back next week

Same boat I have Kamara and IG and debating on playing Patrick Taylor over Jax TE Strange in Flex. I dropped IG to get him, you are right multi week injury and if Olave comes back maybe Kamara pops back to :)

Anything to see here in dynasty?
~ RB51 with a value adjacent to Ray Davis, Rico Dowdle, and Calvin Ridley. So he's gained value since last September, but IMO not valuable enough to sell (that is if you believed in him when you drafted him in the first place). I'd say he's a solid hold. Even if you're looking to sell, odds are high there will a point next year where he'll be getting significant/starting touches and can offload then for a decent amount more.

He seems like real headache to own right now, especially in smaller roster leagues I mainly play. Showed to much to cut but can't get out of my head fact the 49'ers have 5 picks between 75-139, which looks like an extremely rich RB zone and combined with this teams tendency to want to draft RB's every year. And that's before even getting into if they think Mason for probably a little over $3M a year is worth bringing back for a season.

If I owned him I'd be trying to move him to the CMC and/or Mason owner and let someone else deal with it all.

What does his value look like now that Mason is gone?

As a CMC owner I traded for him recently (12 team PPR, TE premium). I paid 2025 3.11 rookie pick and DeAndre Hopkins. With Hopkins going to Baltimore, I don’t see much value there (but I could be wrong).

He may end up being injury prone but when he played last year, he looked good. Of course this is predraft and SF could draft someone but I’m hoping whoever they draft is as a depth piece.

I traded T Lawrence and the last pick of our rookie/FA draft for IG and a 4th. Still have Allen, Penix and Darnold at QB.
Was happy to get anything for TL in this league. 6th rd pick upgrade and a bench RB is fine IMO.
Trying to move Darnold, but not sure it will happen, everyone has QBs.
IG might be a nice flex when CMC gets hurt.

I think they like him a lot and he has league winning upside in event of a CMC injury.

But Kyle said yesterday they’ve had to use their 4th RB in all but 2 seasons he’s been their HC. As I’ve been beating the drum all off season in saying they are going to draft a RB, probably fairly high(not rd 1 or 2), maybe more then 1.

So whatever is value is now it’s going to take a hit.

But SF has done a poor job of drafting RB’s under this regime which is kind of odd. The only 2 they drafted who are any good can’t stay healthy, which is him and Mitchell.

So hard to say for sure until we know who they draft but my guess is whoever it is he’ll beat out if he’s healthy enough.

Not saying I’d not buy now if price was cheap enough but the best time will be after the draft.

I mean look at the depth chart
So ofcourse they should draft another RB, even if they view Guerendo as a future starter I would not be comfortable with CMC's age and history. The question is where they draft an RB; if it gets to round 4ish then I feel Guerendo is safe to get the next crack after CMC. If they draft an RB rounds 1 or 2 then yeah we're in trouble
