RB Jacory Croskey-Merritt, WAS (24 Viewers)

Starting him in 1 league but only because Pacheco is the other option and I don't think Carter will be spitting on Mahomes.

Got an offer for Bill: B Hall for Bill ?
I get to keep B Hall for this year and next year.
I don't see anyway you can pass that up.
Yeah I'll wait after tonights game.
Interesting move. I would be thrilled with that offer. Breece is a proven elite running back when healthy. JCM is a good prospect in a fantastic situation. Not sure I would wait on that…for more than a second or two.

The unknown of JCM is far more intriguing than the mundane fantasy production of Breece ..

I like JCM but Breece Hall is so much more talented and accomplished it's nuts.

Breece Hall is currently 11tth in RB points. The 3 previous years he was RB 17, 6, 7 in PPR PPG. JCM was playing for Alabama State while Breece Hall was averaging 5.8 ypc in the NFL. Considering JCM is only a month younger than Breece, the difference between these guys is massive. Just pure trade value alone, swapping JCM for Hall is a huge value gain for your team.

I don't know why the coaches are handicapping themselves by force feeding Ekeler for the first 2 series every game. 2.5 yards a touch.

I’m excited about this guy but I cash a guy who was close to free a few weeks ago out for Breece every time

I don’t think it’ll be too long before Bill starts getting more opportunity. Ekeler looks slow and old. Then again, what do I know.

A couple more losses and the worm will turn. Ekeler is done
Looks like he just tore his ACL so it didn't take that long.
That's an Achilles
I assumed ACL since it was non contact. Looks like I was wrong.

Maybe it's just a strain and it's not over for him then.

No, that Achilles tendon snapped 100 percent.

Well crud. That's probably it then at his age

Wow ! That’s cool …
The offer was by text message, never received an official one….finally B Hall was traded for Judkins and a second round.
It was a joke. As someone pointed out, the disparity in talent from breece hall to jcm is very wide.
You also got the advice to take that quickly and you went against it.

With Ekeler injury that could open the door to more opportunities, but still much prefer Hall.

We are now entering "Kill Bill Vol. RB2" ...
I want to say Bill to the moon, but I fully expect Rodriguez to start next week.
But this might be the real thing too.

Pass Pro, Grinder, Goalline RBBC and cheaper to get are the reasons. but cold water is he was on inactive list.

Dan Quinn said some nice coach speak things on CR in late August but didn't have him in the 3 RB rotation the first 2 weeks.

Definitely a Lotto pick

Daniels had 53 pass/rush/sacks 'attempts'

Ekeler had 8 rush attempts
JCM had 4.

That's it...those are terrible workload splits. Will serve as a nice early season wake up call to WAS who kind of slept walked to their NYG victory IMO (on offense).

Unpopular opinion here, but losing Ekeler is HUGE for the Commanders where they need to bring someone in.
BILL isn't going to fill what Ekeler brought to the team.
I can see them inquire about Najee Harris, Devin Singletary, Rashaad White, AJ Dillon if they want to keep their high draft picks.
Samaje Perine, Zack Moss would be the ultimate cheap option.

Yeah, and even though they looked terrible for 3 quarters on both sides of the ball, it was still a close enough game they didn't need to be so unbalanced.

I thought it was fairly bush league they ran the ball as little as they did against a defense like this in a game that wasn't totally out of hand yet.

I was surprised they didn't bring anyone else in already before Ekeler got hurt.

Not unpopular at all.

A guy like Robinson would be good to have right now.

Washington looked completely overwhelmed by GB D - gameplan was a mess. Now they need to revamp their entire offense after losing Ekeler.

Bill looked explosive when he was given a few chances - they even set him up on a pass which was blown up. I dont see how the arrow is not pointing anywhere but up for him - no one is expecting a bell cow but I cant see how his role doesnt increase big time after this. Im optimistic

One knock was he completely missed the chip on Parsons on one play which blew it up. If the coaching staff values that they may want someone back there that doesn't miss those assignments.

Unless they trade for someone (not out of the question), Bill should definitely see more opportunities.

agreed. I think his arrow was pointing up even with Ekeler healthy as Ekeler looked pretty ineffective on most touches and I felt it was a matter of time until more of those touches moved Bill's way. Now it will happen quicker.

I wouldn't be surprised if they traded for someone but I would be surprised if that someone came in and got Ekeler's workload. I don't think there's any question that the team will be forced to lean on the Bill more than planned. At the end of the day they need to win games and they need to put the ball in the hands of players that can make plays. Every time Bill touches the ball he seems to do something positive.

There was a lot of smoke that suggested Washington is very high on Bill. Moving Robinson was a clear sign they think they have something in Bill.

I can't see them trading for anyone substantial.

There is no way the coach staff are going to confidently rely on JCM to protect their franchise QB after last night.
Two NFC teams who might meet again in the playoffs. GB will lick their chops everytime they see JCM next to JD on pass plays.

GB and Phi are now front runners to represent NFC in the SB. And this is what Wash is looking at. They will design pass rush that JCM can't read and blow up plays like last night.

Don't remember seeing JCM much in the 2nd half (if at all). I do think that especially with rookies...this is a tactic coaches will employ to stress the importance of pass protection and what their PT looks like when they make a mistake in this area of the game. A multi-billion dollar business rides with Jayden Daniels. JCM's previous QB's have been Dylan Hopkins and Noah Fifita.

But I suspect RB's have missed chips or had them rendered ineffective on Parsons before.

I seem to remember McNichols filling in in that role last year or the year prior and he was solid (at least from an nfl perspective).

But yeah, behind him now they don’t have any strong 3rd down back/pass catcher options.
