If Miss puts up one more nice game, why would they keep him? They clearly don’t want to pay him, they have a very serviceable back in Moss, they should be realistic and send him to Balt, GB, etc and just take a 2nd rounder.
Moss/JT owner, wishful thinking.
Serviceable is the right word for Moss. He's a solid #2. That said, 30-122 isn't great, I feel like Taylor puts up another 30-50 yards on that workload.
Appreciate your feedback Travdogg but how is 30-122 not great against the Ravens on the road with their backup QB? Zack Moss has played great and is a RB1 until further notice. He even caught that wheel route over Queen or whoever the linebacker was.
Ravens barely gave up anything in the rushing department until the Colts came into the town. The Colts want to run the ball and are damn good at it.
I agree JT would absolutely smash if he is healthy and wants to play for the Colts this year. But he wants to get paid before wrecking his body out there. He doesn't have much leverage but the Colts should just trade him away for a good return and roll with Moss. I can see a contender upping the trade price as the year goes on. Colts are in no rush. Colts might not even play him if he's healthy in order to preserve trade value. Who knows? Just speculation at this point. I'm saying that the Colts have won games and Moss has 100 YFS each game. That's above average in this league and above average at the RB position is more than good enough. They tossed Deon Jackson too, giving Moss even more confidence.
