RB Jordan Howard , NO (1 Viewer)

Personally I think Howard is a hold (admittedly maybe a bench and hold...). Trubisky will take over, he and Glennon will develop a couple primary WRs eventually, Cohen will spread out the defense, and overall the second half of the season has better matchups, starting with the Saints in Week 8.

I don't disagree with that, but can people who took him in the 2nd afford to let him hang out on the bench until Week 8? That's also assuming his shoulder injury doesn't keep lingering. I think if you can get something decent for him, now may be the time to sell because the next few weeks are not promising from a schedule perspective.

Howard off the injury report according to sleeperbot.

Edit: so is Kyle Long, good news for Howard.

What is everyone's expectations this week? Worth a start over RB2 types like Quizz-Allen-Coleman? Or is everyone keeping him on the bench this week?

But also Sitton is doubtful with a rib injury.

It all depends on if CHI can keep this game close. Vegas doesn't think they will but PIT on the road is a different beast than PIT at home. I can think of 24 RBs I'd start over him given the match-up and projected game script but I can also understand if owners don't have many other options.

Great q. I think Allen and Jaquizz both have higher ceilings as I think the volume will be there this weekend. Coleman is harder to predict as though he gets predictable worth, can't tell whether he's going to have those games where game dictates more passing or he breaks one and takes it to the house or simply spells Freeman.

I am deciding between Howard and Coleman, and going with Howard, hoping sheer prayers and misguided belief will see me through. If I had Quizz or Allen, would consider starting them and see what Howard does this week to inform next week, but I admit it's a coinflip.

He was dropped the other day ... just picked him up off waivers  :loco:
LOL  That is so cool.. Honestly, as a few posts indicate, it may be kinda rough sledding for a few weeks. Bears also having QB issues, Right.. I chuckle too see you playing old dude in EOS.. I mean I Love Zeke, but I believe Howard gonna Beast..

I'm benching him for Anderson, Lynch, and Fournette. I have good enough options to wait and see.
Good choice.. Its Right too have Fournette as RB3..  May pay too Trade Anderson, after next game (good Trade anyway) too make room for Howard..

I've been trying to trade Howard based on schedule and weak offense. Hope Howard can get something going so I can move him.

Have this weird feeling the Bears are going to try and shorten the game and feed him the ball.

Anyone else feel this way? It's pure gut.

It's occurred to me there has maybe been some overreaction to week 2. Week 1 went alright with decent production and a TD (which Cohen helped him get btw...).

Howard averaged over 5 yards a carry last year on high volume and is playing through an injury. Last week's opponent the Bucs are the #1 rushing D. Doom and gloom are too early.

This is my first week experiencing the misery that is picking between Howard and Cohen. It's going to be a long year owning these two.

I am leaving him on the bench too. Going with Quizz as a volume play and Coleman due to shoot out potential. Would be great to see a solid performance from Howard today regardless.

also leaving him on the bench and going with Cohen instead.  Howard needs to show something before I start him.  Wasted 2nd round pick so far, but I'm hoping it starts clicking soon.

I switched a few times between him and D Jackson in the flex spot but went with Howard. I'm glad I did as he looks good today.

Hoping Cohen gets some more carrys in the 4th, when D is strok'd. Until then Hope its Feed the Beast, I Need points from Thur game. (___  ___ Gurley ____...)

Hows Bears D looking?  They getting after it, worth watchn'?

Like most people, he is on my bench.  The matchup and the injury pointed to that as the right decision.  I am glad to see him playing well though

Whether you played him or not, agree that it's good to see him performing even when dinged. Quieting down the Cohen chatter a little more, too, with more on the ground and in the air than Tarik so far.

Sat him for Carson.  I will still squeak out a win thanks to Brady.  Won't sit him again.
me too, sweating this one out that should have been easy win with howard in the lineup. but totally agree with jurrassic, feels like it was the right move to sit him a week and like everyone else happy to see Howard back running hard. i didn't watch the game, was Long active? seeing the stat line I assumed he was a big part of this.

This is exactly what happened to me. I still like Carson but I really was afraid Howard would be limited because of his shoulder. As a Steeler fan who is all to familiar with how they do on the road and against lesser opponents, game script wasn't even a thought for me. And then he factored in the passing game, anyway.  Was happy to see him do well,  especially after Brady's 5th touchdown.

Played like a beast...there were few times he couldn't even stand up due to shoulder pain....He was the whole offense today
