This guy barely has over 1,000 followers, not verified, is he remotely credible?
Feel like he's seeing the Hunt/Tyreek IG lovefest this morning and just making up stuff for the follows.

Agree.
Would make that RB so much better. Loved Mostert when he was in SF, but hurt a lot and he's just not a lead back type. So so as a pass catcher. Hunt would add another dynamic. Edmonds would join Gaskin in the inactive room.

Rams is probably best path to a workload, but terrible o-line and seemingly dysfunctional offense.
KC is best offense, but crowded backfield (and of course it's unlikely to happen given his history)
Miami is also a good offense/crowded backfield
Buffalo would seem to be the best spot. He'd lose some touches to Singletary and passing-down naps to Cook, but I think he's a clear upgrade over those options. Haven't heard them mentioned in any recent rumors, though

He's a great #2, but he's not a legit #1. His style of play (violent runner with passing game chops) is most effective when tasked with his current workload. He can shoulder the load in small bursts if necessary, but I would not want him as my horse (i.e. Rams). If the Eagles make the best offer then I love his fit on that team.

One of the beat writers covered the roles of the backup RBs, can't recall if Ford or Johnson would be the best complimentary back to Chubb as the other was more of a true backup to Chubb with similar skill set.
Chubb in the role of a true runner, fantastic GL scorer and threat to take it the distance but not as deft catching the ball. He also has turned into a fine blocker but isn't asked to take on that role with Hunt in the mix.
Have to think that D'Ernest Johnson with a few years under his belt knows blitz pickups better than the rookie Jerome Ford but as I noted, next year D'Ernest is a FA and the Browns will be eating the full DeShuan Watson contract so IF Hunt gets dealt then that is a pure mercenary salary cap move since he will also be a FA next year and they can recoup a draft since he wasn't drafted and wouldn't be eligible for the Browns to receive a compensatory draft pick.

Well yeah if you've got a Nick Chubb then Hunt a great #2 RB but he can carry the load if asked but who sits Nick Chubb or limit Chubb? No one.
In the past three years, Hunt has gotten 14 or more carries in 8 games.
The Browns won 7 of those 8 games.
He may not be a purebred and look pretty but he is without a doubt a violent and effective running back.

Ford had comps to Hunt by some talent evaluators if I recall. Johnson carried the load in a couple of games last season with Chubb and Hunt out and did well. But I believe Ford is on IR right now, FWIW...

Can’t see him going to any afc rivals, especially within the division. maybe chargers. NFC seems most likely with maybe the falcons or rams

Yes, you're right. Not sure how I feel about Philly. Of all the teams mentioned, Sanders is probably the best incumbent, plus Hurts steals a lot of GL touches. Also wonder if they would look to preserve him for the playoffs. But that offense is a juggernaut.

I am way late here, but biggest clue here is that Miami doesn’t have their 1st in 2023. It was forfeited as part of the owners tampering punishment. They do own SF’s 1st, though you’d think that would have been specified more clearly if this was more than rumor.

Unless something happens tomorrow at the last minute, which is doubtful at this point, looks like he’s staying put. Of course it makes zero sense for the Browns from a roster management perspective, especially for a team starved for picks after trading a boatload for the masseuse enthusiast.
But as a well-known TikTok influencer once said, “The Browns is the Browns.”

I think his best fantasy value return is with the Dolphins, at least that is what I'm hoping for. Here is the order in my preferences.
Dolphins- quickly becomes the lead dog there, complete RB that is a better runner than Mostert and a better receiver than Edmonds
Falcons- offense showing a pulse, currently in the mix and in need of a professional RB
Rams- was always my first choice but losing faith in this team for 2022
Eagles- I would think he becomes the 1A to Sanders 1B, shared volume in a high powered offense

It’s bad enough that they didn’t bubble wrap Hunt, the fact that they are going to win this game is going to give the Browns brass some delusional belief they can still make the playoffs and they need to keep Hunt for their run to glory.

I think it's enough of a strain on the coaching staff just to try to win the game and save their own jobs. What the GM does with Hunt is not on their mind at all tonight.
With Hunt playing tonight in his regular role, it pretty much assures that he is not being traded.

Been active the last 5 games, mostly STs He’s a 4-phase STer so typically gets 14-17 ST snaps /wk. Before last night, only 10 offensive snaps, 9 vs Pats (2 receptions.) The 4 Carries were indeed his first of the year and might mean something.

I have Chubb and my take was give D'Ernest a few carries just in case Hunt got traded, never really thought that D'Ernest could be. Seems absurd really. Salaries play a significant role and CLE could stand and improve with the right trade offer for Hunt. With CLE on a bye at least there won't be much interest in D'Ernest unless he's the trade candidate. If Hunt goes I may start the handcuff process. Was hoping to get through a few more bye weeks rolling that dice. We'll see.

It is not obvious what their plans are. I don't live in LA and perhaps there is talk already there as to how he would be used. I would assume that he would get most of the carries, but thats not necessarily a given. If you have a concrete answer, simply answer the question. If you only have an opinion, simply share it. No need to be so smug. Don't be that guy.

I was hoping he'd get moved as well, but having him as a handcuff for Chubb for the rest of the season isn't all that bad either. He still has some flex appeal as well. It's better than him being traded to a place that hurts the value of some of my other RBs I have rostered. Could have been much worse.Well, that sucks
Can someone please explain the Browns rationale for keeping Chubb? He’s a FA at the end of the year and they have a very capable backup in Johnson. Cle fans should be incredibly frustrated knowing that this off-season they will most likely lose Hunt and Johnson to FA and get basically nothing in return. At 3-5, this move is incredibly perplexing.
