RB Quinshon Judkins, CLE (3 Viewers)

A person in my redraft money league dropped Judkins about an hour after he finally signed with Cleveland. I didn't understand the thought process there.
The owner that drafted him in my redraft tried to drop him after the draft ended. Rules say you can't until after week 1. So the week 1 waivers and he dropped him for Geno.

Alright how are we seriously feeling about Judkins ROS and even next season +? His production looks incredible even after missing so much camp and time with the team.

I am seriously contemplating offering Bijan to the Judkins owner for him and Lamb and working off a package for that.

I was contemplating offering bijan for Judkins/harrison being a needed wide receiver help.

Obviously all league formats are different, but I can't imagine a scenario where id give up Bijan for Judkins and Harrison. Bijan for Judkins and Lamb a damn fair deal for both imo.

Yeah I am thinking so too. I downgrade a good bit at RB (But still left with a probably RB1) and upgrade big at WR. Judkins also has immense keeper value which may scare him away.

Although it's rare a talent like Bijan is actually available...

That’s why I haven’t. Only reason I was contemplating was cause I have cook/jcm(and had dobbins but dealt him) so don’t need quite as much help now.

Huh?

Did you say you were going to offer your Bijan for Judkins/Harrison then name off RBs? Are you suggesting Judkins > Bijan rest of season? I assumed you needed WR help (Harrison isn't the answer)...

If Judkins is going to outperform Bijan, I need to know now.

Such a shame he's slow, can't break tackles, and gets poor YAC... *sarcasm*

I understood some of the "Henderson will be better than him" stuff, despite not agreeing by the end of scouting. But the "this will wind up being Sampson's backfield" takes were just wild. Another green check for the 2025 RB class.

I feel like we better stop varnishing our poles in this cirq jerk and just pray for health.
I think I see enough victory laps taken over dead bodies around here, it's refreshing to see people celebrate a win with a draft pick hit. I'd read 100 of those posts before wanting to see another post gloating over other people's losses on what looks like a draft pick bust.

Not sure this was what you were trying to say, but in general IMO, any kind of superstition that is built on some "you can't celebrate and be happy about good things because then good things will stop happening" premise pretty much leads to a "cirq jerk" of never ending negativity where all you do is focus on the bad and/or sit around waiting for the next bad thing to come. Sounds like a miserable way to go through life to me. And relative to fantasy football, considering the ratio of hits to misses; all about people celebrating their hits when they can.

You're right. And I'm not as serious as you may have taken it. It is rooted in superstition. And my own gravitational pull towards the negative. But it's only 10am on the east coast. I don't get to my THC infusion until 8 or 9pm most of the time.

Feel that. Considering the way fantasy works, and honestly the world in general the past few years, it is hard to resist that gravitational pull. And to be fair, in the same vein, any guesses about what's behind that next door that lean towards the negative are also unfortunately leaning towards the most likely outcome lol. Learned behaviors/observational experience and all that jazz. Sometimes the philosophies/mantras I throw in around here are as much for me as for anyone else (if not more so).

Just as an FYI I was offered Bijan for Judkins, Sampson and my 2026#1 a few days ago.

Also ironically, which I say because they were my last two offers(different leagues), I was offered BTJ and Evan Engram in 1.5 TEP for Lamb two days ago.

Hold on, you have JSN and Wilson and you preferred a trade where you gave away Wilson rather than a 2nd round pick?

I'm not getting what happened.
Yea, that’s not the way to do fantasy football.
He gave up G Wilson instead of JSN in the deal.
Didn't think it was that hard to understand

OG Offer
My JSN / 2nd Rounder for Judkins / Reed

Countered
My Wilson / 2nd Rounder for Judkins / Reed

And I'm happy w it

Was offered CeeDee for my Judkins. Thinking of rejecting, but thats crazy right?

In redraft, depending on roster as always, I take that trade
I'd personally take Lamb for Judkins in all formats.
Agreed. Judkins has been impressive, but he's nowhere near the level where guys like Lamb or Bijan are.
FWIW, FBG has Lamb and Judkins only 2 spots apart in redraft RoS rankings in my league.

Thats what I was referring to in my head.

Interesting. As someone who has shares of both, I'd need a lot added to Judkins to give up Lamb. Like another every week starter.

I think 95% of the time, a trade like Judkins for Lamb is a smash accept situation. There are scenarios where someone might pause. For example, Judkins is your rb1 due to injuries but you might have St.Brown, JSN and Egbuka tearing it up in your WR slots. In a case like that, you might well hesitate and decide you'd be hurting your team more than helping it. Just a possible scenario in mitigation for those saying it's a no-brainer.

I read it as final offer was JSN AND Wilson as well. I thought you were crazy. Much more reasonable deal.
