I'd take 14 every week for my RB2/Flex position. If he scores a TD he goes into RB1 territory. Most RB2s don't score 14 unless they score a TD it seems
I am stunned at the negativity in this thread, I just assumed everyone would be happy seeing him have back to back good fantasy games.
Forget non-PPR or hybrid stuff, that is a different discussion and I don't play in those leagues. Let's unpack the fantasy scoring from this game that seems to have so many of you disappointed.
14.8 points is what he put up. That is not better than most RB2's, that is better than ALL RB2's. Taking Cohen out of the equation the 12th best RB in PPR PPG is David Johnson at 15.1 points. 14.8 points would literally be the 13th best PPG PPR production this year.
For week 2 Cohen is currently the 13th best RB.
Last season 14.8 points would have placed Cohen at exactly RB13 in PPR per game.
So basically this guy just gave people the highest end RB2 numbers possible in every definition, without scoring a TD or making a big play, and people are disappointed??? And I'm not saying this directly to you Dr. Dan, just happened to be responding to your post.
He is literally a few yards rushing or receiving, or a single catch away from being a top 12 RB, did not need a TD to be a RB1 last week but if he had he'd have tied Melvin Gordon for 8th best RB for the week.
Put this another way the only RB's who had better fantasy days then Cohen yesterday without scoring a TD was James White and Hyde.
And people are disappointed? Tough crowd.
