We need TreVeyon to Wally Pip that fumbling garbage RB that stubbed his little toe. TreVeyon, fulfill your destiny of taking over this backfield and start this Sunday with a 20 burger.

Huge weekend for him. If he fails to take advantage of this injury to Stevenson and can't establish himself as a difference maker, his dynasty value and NFL career outlook start to look pretty worrisome.

Was thinking something similar earlier about what this game means to him because it now seems the run he got at the end of the game last week was probably more to do with Rhamondre nursing his toe then trying to carve out carries for him.
The difference is he's not been particularly close to some kind of takeover or making this more of a pure RBBC at least and seems more buried in a clear backup role, and that might only be because Gibson went down. It's really been kind of weird but I trust McDaniels and Vrabel have their valid reasons. Whatever he's doing wrong or not up to their standards he needs to change some minds with this opportunity.

McDaniels still has pull in the organization and isn't one of Vrabrel's guys but is instead a Kraft holdover/hire, and I think it's Jonathan Kraft who wanted him, Robert's son, and there's a weird dynamic there. But McDaniels never uses rookies and you can find my usually temperate self (lol) in either the Henderson, Patriots, or McDaniels' thread cursing him six ways from Sunday before the year even started.

Robert Kraft has offered his first on-the-record comments about the Patriots' decision to bring back offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels.

So I don't know how much of this is on the head coach.

Interesting theory. Maybe, but I feel like Vrabel swings a might powerful stick but you could be right.
What I always think of when I see Henderson's low usage is Eliot Wolf talking after the draft about how they were having a disagreement about who to draft in round two and way I heard it reported by someone the debate was pretty healthy, a lot of disagreement. The player some wanted was Jonah Savaiinaea and the debate only ended because Miami jumped them and took him.
So I think about that in the context of was Henderson someone the front office wanted and not necessarily the coaching staff or McDaniels? A lot of the value we see in a RB getting drafted high is it generally means they got a clear vision and plan for the RB but I think of this situation and wonder if that vision was one maybe shared by people who don't actually call plays who determine who gets playing time.
