I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, just hope for the best for Henderson with Stevenson healthy. I hope Stevenson fumbles his first carry, but I’m a realist and understand Henderson’s workload will probably decrease. Why fret over it? It will be what it will be. Ya. I made a mistake. I meant 15 TOTAL touches. If that means he needs 4 receptions to get 15 I'm happy with that. Last week he had 24 total touches. I felt he was really trending up to be where they give him 20 touches a game. Stevenson is gonna eat into that. I'm just hopeful he still can be at 15 touches. That's my point. I think. Strictly guessing but I’d anticipate Henderson gets the start with Stevenson alternating drives with him. So something like Henderson getting the opening drive, then Stevenson getting the next drive with Henderson coming in on 3rd and long situations. If Henderson is the catalyst for the offense getting to the red zone I see him getting rewarded with a score opportunity. If Maye and the passing game get it down the field I could see Stevenson being put in for a goal line opportunity to get him involved. Trying to predict what Vrabel might see as fair for his guys, which is probably a futile exercise on my part. I’d still say 60/40 Henderson. Jennings I only see being used in garbage time.
I just learned this lesson this week. I too thought I was pretty solid at rb. Sunday morning I took a gamble to bolster another position by dropping Wilson on GB hoping tough guy Jacobs would make it to the end. Not only did he leave the game injured, so did my Jaylen Warren. BOOM!!!
