RB Ty'son Williams, BAL (1 Viewer)

so I pointed out there’s not been any actual statement since the guy I responded to ran with it.
But there was. I literally just posted it. It was from 17 hours ago, so clearly there was an “actual statement” about the possibility of Williams being inactive.

Oh, sorry - I’m so used to you passive aggressively mentioning me in here that I assumed you were doing it again.

I edited my post. Maybe you should mention specific names in the future so I don’t assume you’re doing that whole passive-aggressive thing again. 👍🏼

Can you not?  Please.

Grabbed Bell for the hell of it.  8 RBs 4 Wrs on my roster haha.  Hoping someone can relieve Mike Davis or Javonte Williams at some point.

The room decided to passive-aggressive talk about me, so I responded. If the room didn’t do that, I wouldn’t either.

like you posting this. No post, no response.

cheers.

There is nothing passive aggressive about this advice.

It is a fantasy football thread about a relative no name running back.... I think you are letting it get to you, just walk away.

I’m not letting anything get to me.

I wasn’t going to post again, then you quoted me (twice ) and here we are. You’re the one perpetuating this right now.  Pot = kettle.

have a nice day & good luck with Williams.

Why are you still in here, other than to troll, pick fights, and desperately try to "win" something? Seems you don't own Williams and clearly have no interest in re-acquiring him, correct?

If we collectively praise you for making the best trade in FF history and agree that you have been right about everything you've said, will you agree to give it a rest?

I don’t recall addressing you. Seems like you’re the one doing the trolling. 💡

For the topic, today will be telling. If Bell looks good in the passing game (I’m assuming him over Freeman) that’s not good for Williams. Tough matchup for both teams - could be low scoring.

NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reports that Latavius Murray is expected to be the Ravens' lead back in Week 4.

Baltimore called up Le'Veon Bell from the practice squad yesterday, but it sounds like Murray will headline this backfield in Week 4. Ty'Son Williams has been the more efficient rusher, but the Ravens have been hesitant to hand the rookie too large of a workload. Murray brings a dependable veteran presence at the running back position, although he does lack the juice of someone like Williams at this stage in his career. It's difficult to trust any Ravens back today against a stingy Broncos defense.

Agree

picked up Bell yesterday , if he sucks I’ll drop him

Looks like it’s Murray.

Well before game time I grabbed Bell.  Not starting him but if he emerges from this mess I win.  Still have Ty'son but he is gone if Bell looks good this week.

Hopefully the awful running from the rest of Baltimore's rbs will force the ravens coaches to get their heads out of their ### and play their only good rb.

Maybe Williams is also not that good. And I say that as a Williams owner.

He might not be, but Murray has clearly shown he's not the answer with his 10/28, 9/36, 7/28, and 18/58 games.
Not gonna happen, but was mentioned in the Miles Sanders thread that a trade to Baltimore would be something given that he seems to have fallen out of favor.

You sure about that, he got in the end zone and don’t hold them back today. He’s not LT in his prime but wouldn’t hold my breath that an easy win over the Broncos with a nice TD run gets Murray benched. Even if it did there’s 2 other RBs they may give a shot to.

Yup - winning cures all ills. The stats may not jump out, but when you’re moving the chains, not turning the ball over, and most importantly, protecting Lamar, you’re likely going to be in Harbaugh’s good graces.

Nearly broke there years long record of straight 100 yard games and could have gotten their qb hurt on a meaningless last play isn't holding them back? Denver was doa after Bridgewater got hurt and Baltimore should have run all over them all 4th quarter.

I know what you want to happen, I just don’t think it’s likely to happen based on the results.

Lowest rushing output of the Lamar Jackson era.

To be fair, Denver has a very good defense.
Against the pass, yes. Against the run they were 25th last year and now are without Chubb. IMO their numbers this year against the run are a mirage, they blew out 3 of the worst teams in the NFL.

I should have sold him... At this point, I don't know if he's the best back on the roster or if that is what I want him to be.

Cutting bait with him in a league I desperately need help and ignored picking up Patterson (as I did in most of my other leagues).  Turns out drafting Kelce, Hopkins and AJ Brown and then going RBBC was a bad approach... live and learn.

Healthy scratch, lol.  I suppose you can move on from him.
I'm going to see if he's inactive for another week before taking that step. More than likely it shows he's fallen out of favor, but could also have been a message to him to raise his game. We don't know what goes on in practice.

Holding for now - 16-team contract league so the top FA RBs are Juzczyk, Rountree, Ahmed, Collins (ROS rankings) or Rountree, Royce Freeman, Breida (dynasty). Not a lot out there to be scooped up.

And I've got other deadweight (looking at you, JJ Taylor) I could dump if I want to go after one of those guys.

Ya. I’m just a bit taken aback that there best back (stat wise/eyeball test) through 3 weeks is done.
As stated above, the stats and eyeball test don't always tell the whole story in terms of what the Harbaugh wants/needs.

Well I will hold one more week since I think I have little better on the waiver wire.  Silly me I dumped Latavious thinking he was never gonna be the man and might grab him back.  But with the emergence of Conner in AZ all of them seem irrelevant to me right now. All of them are behind Conner, Sermon and Higgins if healthy.

Veteran. Won’t cost them with dumb mistakes. Murray might be a plodder, but he’s a trustworthy plodder with a lunchbox mentality & a nose for the end zone. Harbaugh loves those guys. Look at how much he featured Mark Ingram with seemingly younger/better RB on the roster.
