Reggie Bush injury (1 Viewer)

I guess the length of time he's out will depend on whether he needs surgery.

I know the board loves :fishing: personal injury stories so I'll share mine. I broke my fibula in 1991, "stealing" 2nd base on a hit & run. Guy never swung the bat so I slid into 2nd base and my spikes corkscrewed my ankle.

The doctor put a plate & screws into my ankle/lower leg. I had a cast on for roughly two weeks, then an air cast with light rehab for two more weeks. By week five I could jog a bit but it wasn't until 7-8 weeks that I felt comfortable. On the plus I think it's a much easier recovery than a knee issue and not likely to be recurring. I'm sure Bush will be able to cut this recovery time with his conditioning and care.

You probably did not take HGH by the gallon either.

If Busch Light and pizza were HGH I'd have been back the next day.

In 2008, Reggie Bush missed weeks 8-12.Here is Lance Moore's stat lines for those games (and the games before + after these are mediocre at best when Bush was IN lineup)wk8 6-90-1wk10 6-76-1 wk 11 8-102-1 wk 12 5-115-2
 This stuff is the kind we need, Thank you!

Sean Peyton was on Sirius.

Said Bush has a small fracure of the upper fibula. Out a minimum of 4 weeks.

Then mentioned Lance Moore & Shockey when asked where Bush's touches would go.

Bump Finley up a bit too
:X yep.I think this kinda thing stinks for Bush owners cause you're given just enough so that you keep him rostered, but it could easily turn into a 10 week to IR ordeal.
Not if you have RB depth to cover injuries. Bush hasn't stayed healthy over the years and while I love his upside in PPR, owners should have covered their bases here.I'm going to drop him and cover Foster with Slaton now.

So should Bush be dropped for a decent WW pickup.
Gonna be a tough decision for some of us. I tend to agree w/ the speculation that we won't see him on the field till week 11 (given Saints week 10 BYE). I need to pick up Tolbert since I own Mathews, but I dunno..... Not sure I can go that long w/ a black hole on my roster (we don't have IR in this league).
