I don't have a link, just heard it on ESPN radio during the Sportscenter updates He was killed in an auto accident Sunday Morning...not sure if it has an impact on him next Sunday or not.

I'm sure Dungy will give him all the time he needs.

Thanks MoP. There was a thread on this early Sunday Morning, but it got deleted because a few people got out of line. Hopefully we can be a bit more civil with this one.

Best wishes to the Wayne family. I might be at the game this weekend, but thoughts on Jets-Colts should be saved for another thread.

I was wondering where that thread went. I was going to post the link here all snobby-like. ;)

I did a search, and that's why I started this one...I never heard about it till tonight...guess it should have impacted him b4 the game today if he knew...but he played anyways so it's probably a moot point going forward.

The thread got shut down because some galatically stupid moron decided to post something incredibly insensitive about how the news helped him because he was a Harrison owner. Hopefully the guy was told to have a great season. :bye: It also indicated that Reggie didn't find out about his brother until after the game. What it wasn't able to shed any light on was details of the accident that led to his brother's death. Is there any more info about what happened?

KENNER, La. (AP) — The brother of Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Reggie Wayne was killed Sunday when the produce truck he was driving hit a highway guardrail, police said.Rashad A. Wayne, 32, of Baker, a bedroom community north of Baton Rouge, suffered a severe head injury and was pronounced dead at the scene, said James Gallagher, a spokesman for the Kenner Police Department.Police responded to a call at 10:15 a.m. Sunday about a wreck on Interstate 10 westbound at the Jefferson Parish-St. Charles Parish line, Gallagher said.Officers found a Capital City Produce Company truck stopped in the highway's right lane and found the victim in the truck's cab, he said.A preliminary investigation determined that the truck was traveling in the left lane on the upramp of the Interstate 10 bridge but it crossed three lanes as it started fishtailing and then hit the right retaining wall, he said."It slid along the top of the wall on its side a short distance before landing back on its wheels across the lanes leading to Interstate 310," he said. The interstate was closed for about two hours after the accident. All lanes have since been reopened.Gallagher said the accident remains under investigation,An autopsy will be performed later to determine the exact cause of death. Wayne's brother, Reggie Wayne, a New Orleans native, is in his sixth year with the NFL.

Horrible news. I couldnt imagine losing a brother. I have three brothers and a step brother and it would be unimaginable.

T&P to the Wayne family.
