This made me laugh, but I don't want to like it because then it looks like I'm excited about you dying.I'll be dead before season 7
No one knows. But I don't think the producers care if Beth is a clone or not. Rick has already changed realities at least once (when he turned the whole planet into Cronenbergs) and he's had several close calls where he might have changed realities (like when they were on the Citadel) that it doesn't really matter.Just caught up with Season 3
Is Beth a clone? I think she is, otherwise she wouldn't have taken Jerry back
Agreed. I think Rick said the clone would basically do whatever normal Beth would do. I think it's totally possible that we get an episode in a couple of seasons were normal Beth comes back and there's some problem, so Rick has to get rid of the clone. No one knows. Or maybe it'll never be spoken of again.
I think that you only get a certain amount of curse words each season. I know breaking bad had one F word every season, so they used it judiciously. Not sure about less offensive words like the S word, which makes us sound like 7 years olds referring to it that way.I thought that was a great episode. So many good things about it.
One weird thing is I noticed that not all of the curse words were bleeped out. First, I don't understand why they bleep them at all anymore on cable. But second, there were at least two times where the s-word didn't get bleeped but it did every other time. Not sure if that was intentional or if someone just screwed up in editing.
It's all station rules. Cable has no rules, in that you can curse the entire show. FX just decided a couple years ago to stop enforcing the profanity rules. Now all of their shows curse. Maybe because it's technically Cartoon Network, they still enforce cursing a little. But it still makes no sense to bleep the word 40 times throughout the show but not two times sprinkled in the middle.I think that you only get a certain amount of curse words each season. Right. That's what I was saying, GB. Just not very eloquently, I guess. In general, yeah, cable has 'no rules'. But they still self-impose their own content restrictions. Sometimes they want to keep the TV-14 rating instead of TV-MA. Sometimes advertisers have their own policies (Campbell's Chunky Soup won't sponsor a show that isn't sufficiently wholesome, for example).
Each cable channel has their own list of what you can say and how many times you can say it. I have a collection of some of the best in my office. They do tend to spice up the meetings I have to sit through.
I had no idea that Elon Musk was such a huge fan. I had no clue that was actually him until the credits popped up.Loved episode 3.. You son of a #####
He changed his Twitter handle to Elon Tusk for a few days back in February iircI had no idea that Elon Musk was such a huge fan. I had no clue that was actually him until the credits popped up.
I liked it, but didn't think it was one of the better ones. I'm all for immature humor, but I feel like this show goes too far sometimes and they rely on "potty humor" too much. Nothing wrong with a couple of those jokes, but when the whole show is about it, it takes away from how good this show can be.4th new episode just finished last night. All of them have been pretty good.
Also, episodes like this last one are why I was surprised to see a kid who looked about 10 dressed up as Rick for Halloween this year.I liked it, but didn't think it was one of the better ones. I remember being at gymnastics practice for my daughter a couple years ago when she was 6. There was a boy sitting in the lobby with his tablet watching Rick and Morty with his mom right there. He was probably 8 or 9 years old. I was just like "ok then."Also, episodes like this last one are why I was surprised to see a kid who looked about 10 dressed up as Rick for Halloween this year.
I lost it on all of the slut dragon stuff.I liked it, but didn't think it was one of the better ones. Hilarious and sad at the same time. That's when the show is at it's best.Yeah really enjoyed that one. The long bit in the middle with Jerry resetting everything at the end was hilarious.
You just knew it was going to happen.Yeah really enjoyed that one. The long bit in the middle with Jerry resetting everything at the end was hilarious.
Apparently, most of that montage was created entirely by the director, after the episode had already been completed, when they realized that the show was 5 minutes too short.Yeah really enjoyed that one. The long bit in the middle with Jerry resetting everything at the end was hilarious.
Agree. This season has really been hit-or-miss, but that was a great one.Vat of Acid was a proper episode. Giving you that classic mind#### right at the end.
Watched them both today. Which one had the aquaman? I was howling, maybe my favorite episode yet. The duplicity one wore me out.S5 out a few weeks ago. That first episode, I'll need to watch it sober.
E2 was hilarious. Completely absurd, but hilarious
That first one was aquaman, but I thought he was a vampire. It aired fathers day, i was exceptionally hammered. Definitely need a re-watch lolWatched them both today. Which one had the aquaman? I was howling, maybe my favorite episode yet. The duplicity one wore me out.
Yeah on the rewatch Mr. Nimbus won me over. Also that Morty side story was great.Watched them both today. Which one had the aquaman? I was howling, maybe my favorite episode yet. The duplicity one wore me out.
Yea same creator. I've yet to watch Solar Opposites though from what I hear it's the more PG-13 version of R&M with a more persistent plot.I had no idea you guys were into this show. My daughter watches so its on sometimes.
The dudes who made this apparently make a show called Solar opposites and its awesome.
More PG than this kids show?Yea same creator. I've yet to watch Solar Opposites though from what I hear it's the more PG-13 version of R&M with a more persistent plot.
Hmm. So basically just regular Rick and Morty then.More PG than this kids show?
Solar Opposites is easily the most violent and subversive animated show I’ve ever seen that doesn’t involve tentacle porn.
Forgot about this, just starting now. Pretty epic night following House of the Dragon and LSU-FSUBump for Season 6 premiere tonight.
