In light of the NE Pats debacle, here is the parameters of the discussion. Which situation would have the greater advantage over the opposing .
1) Your offense knows exactly which defensive scheme is coming at you (i.e. knowing exactly which defensive players are blitzing from where, and which players are dropping back into coverage) (not that the Pats got this good at stealing signals...this is just hypothetical example I through out there).
or
2) All 11 of your starting offensive players are on the "juice" and playing against a "natural" defense. No insider knowledge about play calls and such by the offense.
