Philly using their timeouts there was idiotic. And the Chargers doing one yard dives each time was doubly idiotic considering that was not a chip shot field goal at all.

I think the smart play was to let the clock run down and let them kick a field goal from about 49 yards out with no time left on the clock versus giving them three opportunities to throw a 10 yard pass and make it a 39 yard kick with no time left. Because frankly...I don't consider receiving the ball after the kick with 5 ticks on the clock to be all that valuable. For some odd reason, the Chargers had incredible faith in their FG and did not decide to try to get an additional 10 yards.

THe other issue was Chip Kelley's clock management on their last field goal drive where Vick got hurt and Foles came in.

They allowed the Chargers to move the ball 3 or 4 yards closer and kill more time anyway. The original spot was only 2 yards closer than the kickers CAREER long.
