San Francisco 49ers @ Carolina Panthers Playoff Thread (1 Viewer)

We have all heard the details of their first matchup... It went beyond missing players and injuries. Candlestick had a weird vibe that day, almost like a funk in the air. I was there that day and it was so low key, and low energy. Not happening on the road today... Niners look ready to roll.

Usually the pre-game Star Spangled Banner is sung by a horrible pop singer that may as well wipe her/her rear with the song, but this one was excellent. Thanks, whoever that was. That was very well done!

Who was that? I missed the name.

Yeah that was refreshing. We've heard way too many pathetic, and quite honestly, disrespectful renditions.

THat's what I'm talking about next week. The team that does stuff like that is going to get flagged and lose.

Good pressure so far by Carolina, but I don't see them spying Kaepernick. I think he'll have some running room if Carolina continues with this plan.

Not really a BS flag. First thing I thought when I saw that is "penalty." It's up to the players to adjust to the new NFL.

Sissy flag...dumb to hit the receiver there. Why even hit him?
Because Davis was close to the ball? Horrible call, horrible.
Ball was already on the ground.Defender just wanted to make a hit.

As I said sissy flag...but a dumb hit.
What game are you watching? :lmao:
Not going to get into crap with you. Have a nice day trying to fish someone else into an argument.

Technically, yes, the ball was on the ground when contact was made. But, I'd guess it had been on the ground for approximately 0.01 seconds.

Rewound it and watched it 4 times, cheap shot as the ball was clearly already at Davis's feet and he was making 0 attempt at the ball

Exactly what I thought and I agree that players need to adapt. Hell they are the ones that created it with their lawsuits.
