In all fairness, it can be a bit grim at times.

I can remember leaving SF in the summer to fly back home to Seattle. It was often grey and cool in SF, then I flew 750 miles north and it was 20-30 degrees warmer.

Of course, you could get the same thing by driving 30 minutes in any direction from SF. 

Except West. 

I can remember flying back from NYC to colder December weather in SF/Marin... but then it would get warmer and comfortable within a day or two.

Hell no. I'll prefer something inexpensive, like Manhattan.

It's still in business which is pretty good for this neighborhood.  I haven't gone for a few years but it's always been solid.

The same outfit runs a New Orleans type restaurant called The Boxing Room around the corner.  It's good as well but I don't like their gumbo.

First time I went to SF my wife made a plan of all the things she wanted to visit. So we take the train from the airport to a station that lets out right near some famous market. As we are just exiting the stairs to the sidewalk and getting our first glimpse of downtown SF. about 100 bicyclers rode by completely nude.
