Sean 'Diddy' Combs' Houses Raided in Miami and L.A. by Homeland Security in Sex Trafficking Probe (1 Viewer)

He upped the deal with an agreement to limit his connection to women if released.

According to new court documents, the Bad Boy Records founder offered to fully disclose his movement and connections to the government if released on bail.

His legal reps noted that the security company responsible for logging all visitors at his Miami Beach home would hand over the information to the government nightly.

They also claimed that Diddy would limit visitors to family, property caretakers, and friends not listed as co-conspirators in the federal indictment. The contact limitations seemed to be the legal team's way of addressing the court's concern about the rapper contacting or intimidating witnesses.

They even specified that Diddy would restrict female visitors to family members like the mothers of his children. The documents obtained by TMZ further noted the music producer vowed not to contact known grand jury witnesses.
I don't see anything there that makes him any less of a flight risk.

I honestly can't believe he stuck around after the news originally broke back in March.

Just total hubris.

Where do you think he should have gone?

Somewhere with no US extradition treaty.

He has enough money to bribe whoever he needed to in order to get out of the country.

Not saying I WANTED him to escape justice....but it's just very odd that he hung around to get arrested on such serious charges

Oh, I understood what you meant, I'm just curious where a guy like him in his current predicament would flee to....I mean, I couldn't afford to run away to Montana if I wanted to hide, but a guy with all that money, where's the safe-place?

Quick Google search.....guess I'd expect him to go to the UAE. Dubai had all the luxury he'd want and he could probably continue doing all the shady stuff he's been doing for the past 30 years

Diddy Takes Another Shot At Bail After His Massive $50 Million Offer Was Denied

Diddy is desperate to be released on bail and has dropped another tempting offer to the prosecutors.

The embattled rapper, born Sean John Combs, remains in custody after his initial $50 million bail offer was rejected. He upped the deal with an agreement to limit his connection to women if released.

I fail to see how any offer on bail would be "tempting to prosecutors." It's not like the US Attorney gets to use the bail to vacation in Bali or something.

Such a weird entitled maniac. He reminds me of a modern Phil Spector.

I am finding it more and more difficult to listen to Bad Boy music; even though Biggie is one of my favorite rappers, maybe overall favorite depending on the day, but definitely, in my top 3.

I am old enough to have gotten out of my hip hop/rap youth phase right before Bad Boy hit and then to have picked it up again right after Bad Boy was no longer on the scene. Serendipitous. I will say that "Mo Money Mo Problems" is still a great track and quite prescient at this point in time.

Ambition is the cause of the rise and fall of many things. I don't think Sean Combs lacked it.

especially when you realize they jacked this dude's whole style and flow when creating BIG:

Oh wow! This is actually the first I've ever heard of this. Quick interwebs search, and I'm getting mixed results.

What about that Christopher Wallace (if that even is his name) freestyle on the Funkmaster Flex mixtape? I think it was volume 3. I know the Funk Flex tape came out in late 90's, but what about the actual flow? Isn't there footage of Biggie doing it when he was much younger? In front of a bodega maybe...? I could be wrong.

Indonesia.

But, either way, when the feds take serious interest you're in deep. Now that he's been arrested and charged they have a ~90% conviction rate. He's toast.

Biggie was the real deal and a great street rapper. Puffy molded him a bit to have that commercial appeal and my bet is "produced" the Juicy track without Biggie's knowledge it was done by someone else. Puffy was an A&R at the time and was probably getting tons of music sent to him and decided to steal someone else's work. BIG's flow definitely changed up for that single, not as rapid fire as many others like (Party and BS, etc) and almost the exact melody as this Notorious B1 fellow. Then when Biggie Smalls had to change his name for copyright reasons (The original Biggy Smalls) they even jacked the guy's name. Bad business but Puffy has always been a shark.

The first I ever heard of Puffy was in 91 when he was promoting a basketball game in NYC and a bunch of people got killed because he oversold the event and a stampede ensued. Karma is a b.

I was listening to some of the Cassie testimony on my drive in today. There were some real horrific claims going on with Diddy and these freak offs. He was allegedly recording them and using the videos for blackmail.

NBC has the play by play.

It's suuuuuuuper gross. I think the prosecution has him nailed here.

And they can say he's not being put on trial over that hotel video but it speaks for itself.
Anyone that would do that to another person is capable of anything, I don't see how Combs could possibly be set free at the end of this
Just a matter of how many years they give him
Federal Raids don't typically end well for the owner of the homes they enter

That video was hard to watch. I also think its a case of who goes down with him. Diddy had a team and guests involved in this too. Maybe they aren't legally in trouble, but after hearing the details, public opinion will ruin careers.

have they pulled Diddy's music from streaming services yet?

He's was never really an artist and the tracks he is credited with were all written and often produced by someone else even though he'd get most of the writing and producing credits. More an Executive Producer/CEO type. To his credit (or devilish nature), he knew the power/money involved in writing/producing royalties and often ripped off those doing the majority of the work. I never thought highly of him even before all these allegations came out. Your typical record exec scumbag.

Yet another case where it seems that tons of people knew of the horrific things going on and never said a word. The ability of man to partake in evil or enable it by standing silent is incredibly disturbing,

Too many people are willing to compromise their morals to be a star. Hollywood, music, influencers... Hollywood and Music seem to be on the downswing with social media taking over.

I worry about cultural decay and I remain optimistic the future will be better, but we live in an age where everything comes to light in time. We may end up seeing more of this stuff.

Im sure it goes on, but my HS Sr son and his peers are acutely aware of the omnipresence of video documentation and its immediacy AND longevity. Wife and I wanted him to be way more debaucherous in HS- the way we were- but he and the other kids are too aware of the repercussions if they are in public.
