wow. I’m not going to lie—I’ve had such horrible fantasy luck in my other league this week that when the Texans Def scored that TD, I legit wrote myself off this week in this league. Just thought it was one of those weeks where the fantasy gods weren’t going my way. There might be stat corrections—so I’m certainly not celebrating anything yet—but one thing I do know is that regardless of the outcome—epic frigging match. Win or lose—hats frigging off. You have a really nice team and you manage it really well.
Brutal for whichever team loses in a matchup of the top 2 scores in the league.wow. I can't honestly say I believed that when I wrote it but, he's on pace for 4,058 & 32 with 282 on the ground and 1.7 TDDarnold gonna throw for 4,500 & 28!
Yes sir. Competitive league. Can't sit back. Gotta take some chances to get better. Also, I've just always loved to trade.Damn the trades are flying faster than tuna at a Seattle fish market.
Got nothing to lose at this point. Team has underachieved all year. My chances are virtually nil anyway. Certainly didn't stand a chance the way it was. Still need one or two more.Damn the trades are flying faster than tuna at a Seattle fish market.
Yep. Football is stupid sometimesThis week cracks me up. The players that we are being forced to play.
In 2 leagues every one of my players on the bench are on byes
I knew exactly what this post is about immediately. Nice night to have Barkley on your roster (I have him in the FBG Bowl league
Overachiever. Ha ha
I never thought it was possible to be too pretty.Overachiever. Ha ha
Your way to pretty to explain yourself. Never let em see you sweat. Never justify your actions pretty boy. Stand by them. Ha haY'know my logic for trading G.Wilson for T.Tracy was heavily influenced by my belief the Jets may be hitting a full blown implosion and the Giants would simply continue being bad. That and getting an "extra" game from Tracy. Thank goodness for [Saquon]Hold my beer.[/Saquon].
Now, I'm not so sure. The Giants look like they're not "quiet quitting" they're in full on off-season mode.
Ugh. My gut feeling now is you're going to win that trade @Atomic Punk
My people know how pretty they are, and how pretty I am. They appreciate the respect I show them when I demonstrate my humanity. The prettiest human, but still human. That's leadership, IMO.Your way to pretty to explain yourself. Never let em see you sweat. Never justify your actions pretty boy. Stand by them. It was a toss up for me, as I hate giving up RB depth but I’ve never had Wilson on one of my teams, so why not!Y'know my logic for trading G.Wilson for T.Tracy was heavily influenced by my belief the Jets may be hitting a full blown implosion and the Giants would simply continue being bad. I didn't realize that. This adds another element to watching tonight's game because I didn't consider Tracy's 10 points this week might help you get the win.It was a toss up for me, as I hate giving up RB depth but I’ve never had Wilson on one of my teams, so why not!Y'know my logic for trading G.Wilson for T.Tracy was heavily influenced by my belief the Jets may be hitting a full blown implosion and the Giants would simply continue being bad. In hindsight is was a bad move, as I had Harris in as a flex and Tracy in the RB spot. By the time I got to updating my roster, Harris had already played and o didn’t have anyone other than Laube to put into my lineup. Going to cost me the game this week, leaving me at 5-7.
As my Nonno use to say … whattayagonnado
Relying on Andrews is a fitting end to my poor season. I even had to return to the same place I made those horrible 4th-6th round picks for work today for first time since the draft. Andrews, Stroud, and Dell were awful choices. Got what I deserved. Hopefully I'll do better next year. I'll still field a full lineup to give you guys an honest result for these last two weeks. Really appreciate being accepted and it's been a humbling experience. Never quite got my *** kicked this much, but it's a helluva challenge.Coming down to the wire tomorrow night, @Houston turmOiler
So, I hadn't looked at until now. Why did you put Laube in at RB and Najee at flex? Why not Najee at RB and someone like Jakobi or Vele at flex?Just bad luck. If I had Harris in at RB instead of Flex, I could have subbed in a bunch of guys into the Flex spot that scored between 10 and 20.

I had Tracy in at Flex already and didn’t get back to look until after the Thursday Steeler game started. It wouldn’t let me move Harris to Flex after the game started. So, I hadn't looked at until now. Why did you put Laube in at RB and Najee at flex? Really? A lot of other people do that here more than me. I wasn't even watching the game and saw that Dobbins was having a nice start so I messaged before I went to sleep. Sorry I was wrong.

I would like to know this information tooFor people who might be interested in these next year, can someone recap the standings, how the current playoffs teams would look (number and their route in), and how the playoffs work.

Pretty straight forward 6 team playoff structure. 2 more weeks of regular season then 1 and 2 seeds get a bye while the other 4 teams matchup in the usual 3v6, 4v5 matchups.
3 divisions. Ranking of all teams simply by record. For example. I'm currently the leader in one division, yet I'm ranked 4th. Divisions really serve no purpose. Straight up record top 6 make playoffs. Top 2 get byes. Pretty standard. Overall pretty vanilla stuff.Fun, @ChakaI would like to know this information tooFor people who might be interested in these next year, can someone recap the standings, how the current playoffs teams would look (number and their route in), and how the playoffs work.

What's the talk about divisions. How is seeding determined?
You are correct so your college was worth it. Ha ha. As of today I'm playing 5-7 Joey in playoffs. Technically 10 of theDo we know playoff format in this? If six teams advance, it will be an epic finish to the regular season with FIVE teams at 5-7 vying for the final spot. If not, well that's seven years of college down the drain.
Clinched teams (well done, so pretty):
Bubble(?):
- Chaka 9-3
- JV 9-3
- FFH 8-4
- DaRaiders 8-4
- Deamon 8-4
Thanks for coming out:
- Joey 5-7
- Chaos 5-7
- TurmOiler 5-7
- jb 5-7
- Punk 5-7
- LawFitz 3-9
- B&J 2-10
Adding to that, I'm sure we all have that one game we blew this season that is really haunting us right now. Mine's Week 9 where it looked like I had it in the bag against jb, only to watch DeMarcus Robinson have the game of his life (a dude I cut previously, no less, and has since been cut by jb). Still, I only needed around 15 from Flacco in the night game, who promptly fell flat on his face and tanked (INSTANT RAGE DROP).Gonna be a blood bath for that last playoff spot.
I am totally limping to the finish line with Dobbins, Brian Robinson, Devonte Smith and Downs all likely out. The first 2 RBs were my cheat code of “cheaper RBs” who were way out playing their draft position. My other main cheat code (Godwin) sadly was lost for the year weeks ago and I’ve been scrambling to make up for it. (I know that EVERY team has an injury story or two or ten this year)
All “congrats in advance” schtick aside, my team is definitely not currently in any shape to put up a real fight so it’s gonna take tons of luck from a crazy random high scoring game from a couple of my players.
This year has been a blast in this league “knowing” all of the other players and I’m looking forward to it again next year.
In the meantime…I will fight until the last second to put together a starting roster that can hopefully compete.
I like you. Our time together has created a closeness I didn't think I'd find again. Having said that, I signed a contract with ESPN for my journey and in that contract they are very specific about tanking, no matter the circumstances.@FarFromHome you're going to rest your guys Week 14 since you've clinched the division... right???![]()
