He and Barron would make an elite SS pairing, but safety isn't a glaring need for them, IMO.Think Vacarro would be an option there? It's either that or possibly Eifert or Jarvis Jones.

Did they still not re-sign Brinkley in the middle?I agree with FP. They'll probably make one of those picks but trade out of the other. Why do you say that? IMO, Austin would be very appealing to them. A lot like Percy but not so disgruntled.I think the Vikings are more likely to trade down than up in this draft.Doesn't seem like a lot of value in that trade. I see Minny or SF as likely targets for this pick.
After signing Jennings, the WR situation isn't quite so desperate. And it's a team with way more holes than their record from last year portrays them as having. They need all the picks they can get.
No. Brinkley is in Arizona now.Did they still not re-sign Brinkley in the middle?
I think their WRs do need to be upgraded. I like Jennings but he is injury prone. Unless you expect one of the boys out of Arky to take a step forward this year.
Yes. Having three CBs gone before TB's pick is not good for them.Allowing the Darrelle Revis deal to go through, by-far makes the most sense IMHO which would put the Jets back on the clock.
Don't think the Jets could do that, they need those picks and should just take Vaccaro. If the JETS trade Reivs and are on the clock right now then.......
The trade I suggested for the Tampa Bay pick would still apply and make a heck of a lot of sense. (where the Jets ship this pick to Cleveland and their 2nd and 5th for CB Dee Milliner to replace Revis).
If the Jets are open to that then the Browns would take OLB/DE Barkevious Mingo here.
Its much more difficult to land thee-top CB in any draft over the top FS.Don't think the Jets could do that, they need those picks and should just take Vaccaro. If the JETS trade Reivs and are on the clock right now then.......

3 or 4 people are having a trade scenario circle jerk that is going to delay the Steelers from going on the clock until exactly 60 seconds after I leave work and sign off FBG for the day. Be prepared to make pick #17.What is going on?

Do the Revis deal and than do the deal for the team coming up for Austin. Grab lots of picks in this draft. They can use so many thingsDon't think the Jets could do that, they need those picks and should just take Vaccaro. If the JETS trade Reivs and are on the clock right now then.......

I just think that they have good slot receivers in Jarius Wright and Greg Jennings...they need a bigger WR.Why do you say that? IMO, Austin would be very appealing to them. Michael Vick says the Eagles have been running a "lot" of read-option plays in this week's voluntary workouts.
Vick called the offense "very refreshing." There's been much handwringing over how coach Chip Kelly will adapt his breakneck zone-read attack to the NFL, but this is an (extremely early) indication he has no plans to dramatically alter it. Vick also claimed — via a dry zinger — that Nick Foles is a fit for Kelly's offense. "I mean, he can run. He has two legs." Foles doesn't have a realistic shot at earning the starting gig.

I wouldn't be shocked if the Chiefs decided to take Eric Fisher with the #1 pick. A lot of buzz out there. #NFLDraft
What good does it do if Sanchez is butt-fumbling before he can get the ball to him?Not that I disagree with you guys, but it's funny to me that the Jets of all teams are not interested in Austin if they land in this pick while others are. I can't think of a single team in the league that needs a dynamic playmaker more than the Jets. They seem clueless to that fact though, so they'd probably take Mingo.
This. Jets have more issues than making sure they get a pint-sized WR with their 1st rounder. What good does it do if Sanchez is butt-fumbling before he can get the ball to him?Not that I disagree with you guys, but it's funny to me that the Jets of all teams are not interested in Austin if they land in this pick while others are. The idea that if a team needs something that all they have to do is draft a guy in later rounds is well and good, very good until you check out how later round draft selections turn out.Do the Revis deal and than do the deal for the team coming up for Austin. Because they're terrible everywhere. And I'm not sure the NFL community is as sold on Star as the draftniks are.If the JETS have this pick then how in the world do they pass on Star?
The Jets' fans will not appreciate you saying this.Because they're terrible everywhere. And I'm not sure the NFL community is as sold on Star as the draftniks are.If the JETS have this pick then how in the world do they pass on Star?
Both LaRon Landry and Yeremiah Bell are gone. This almost has to be Vaccaro, right guys?
But neither can they deny it.The Jets' fans will not appreciate you saying this.Because they're terrible everywhere. And I'm not sure the NFL community is as sold on Star as the draftniks are.If the JETS have this pick then how in the world do they pass on Star?

Saying "easily" twice in one post doesn't make it true. They are terrible everywhere because they don't take the highest rated player and Star is by-far the highest rated player still on the board. He checked out medically, no call-back to Indy and Dr. Jene gave a good assessment of the false-positive where they errred on the side of caution at the Combine.
He's fine and easily the top rated player still left on the board.
I thought about it, but I'm going to let him keep dropping. I'd like to keep 34 if possible.Doesn't seem like a lot of value in that trade. I see Minny or SF as likely targets for this pick.
If your QB is seriously so bad that drafting the best playmaker available doesn't even matter, then draft a QB... or they should have traded 9 and 13 to get to Geno. What good does it do if Sanchez is butt-fumbling before he can get the ball to him?Not that I disagree with you guys, but it's funny to me that the Jets of all teams are not interested in Austin if they land in this pick while others are. That's not to say he doesn't make sense.
Wouldn't mind seeing St. Louis trade up for Star.Because they're terrible everywhere. And I'm not sure the NFL community is as sold on Star as the draftniks are.If the JETS have this pick then how in the world do they pass on Star?

Don't see it happening, but their middle would be downright nasty for years.I hope the Panthers get Star for real at 14.
Now, however, the Panthers will sprint to the podium to take Star Ukulele I think.
yeah me either,Don't see it happening, but their middle would be downright nasty for years.I hope the Panthers get Star for real at 14.
I don't think Lotulelei gets past pick four in the real NFL draft.Don't see it happening, but their middle would be downright nasty for years.I hope the Panthers get Star for real at 14.
