Should we consider ourselves lucky? (1 Viewer)

Not to take away from the seriousness of the crime, but I was just thinking how fortunate that we FF'ers are that Vick's problems don't too greatly affect our leagues that we spend countless hours and money on.

I mean, other than Vick and Crumpler, the dog-fighting case doesn't affect the FF world as much as if it were a player like Manning or Rivers .... someone on a team w/ a lot of valued players. I personally wasn't planning on looking at any Falcons players so the news of Vick possibly not playing does not affect me one bit. Assuming that most others feel the same way, we should consider ourselves lucky.

I think it has a great effect on the RBs. Teams don't have to worry about Harrington taking off, and I believe they will just load the box and seriously damage the RBs. I don't think any Atlanta receivers are so good that they have to worry about them...and Harrington is terrible.

yeah, Dunn had minimal value at best ... Vick not playing only makes his situation worse. It'll be intersting to see what happens under Harrington ... I don't remember him using his TEs in Detroit and Miami so Crumpler's value may be close to zero. I dunno ... a good topic of discussion might be to see where people rank Crumpler w/ Harrington as the QB.
