Snowmageddon 2022 (3 Viewers)

This is your Super Bowl, Sheik!!! The hell are ya?!
He only talks to us when he's at work. We're like his dirty little mistress.
omg, that is so true. Freaking Sheik is a chatty cathy during work hours, he get's home and we're on the no-call. I kind of feel used.
As you should. He'll come back Monday and he'll sweet talk us. He'll ask us how we liked the storm and apologize for not being here. He'll charm us and make us laugh with a silly story about how he put gasoline in the oil pan of his snowblower. His neighbor will save the day, his wife will put her hands on her hips and shake her head, we'll all sigh and say "that's our Shiek!"I've seen it a hundred times.
It will be like our i_walk of shame.
"He'll be here next time. He's just a very busy guy with a lot going on. He can't be here all the time. He loves us! Can't you see that?! You don't understand! You're just jealous!"

Anyone know if thundersnow is in the forecast anywhere?
We may get some here in DC, that's a big reason why Cantore is here!!!!
Cool!! We are here in Franconia waiting to see and hear some crazy weather! Very happy that our power is all underground.
Yup! Us too out here in Eastern Loudoun (Leesburg). Only the huge main power lines are above ground. and they are cleared enough from trees for this to not be a problem.
WUSA says thunderstorms from 2:00 am to 6:00 am

So I got new neighbors about a year or so ago across the street. Real knuckleheads. Nice people but just typical yuppie idiots.

When they first moved in they kept parking in front of my house. Our driveways can fit 2 cars easy. 4 if you squeeze them in.

For some reason they park one car in the center of the driveway. The other on the street.

Well with the snow storm coming they moved the car on the street.

I kid you not they left one car in the driveway pretty much centered. The other in the side yard :lmao:

Like they couldn't fit it in the driveway.

Phenomenal

So......those plans I posted earlier about shoveling periodically to lessen the work when it's over?

#### that. It's too damned cold. I'll wait for the Spring melt.

It's hard to tell because the wind is blowing so hard and drifting has already set in, but I'm guessing we have about 6" on the ground now.

Wife and I are staying put. If the 6:50am high tide looks threatening we'll go stay in Oats's shed or something.

1st round of shoveling in the books. About 6 inches, took about an hour. The snow was pretty fluffy so the going wasn't too bad. Not looking forward to what I'll wake up to tomorrow. If I have to shovel more than once tomorrow, I may break out the snow blower.
