Not too bad here in SE PA yet, but after a 3 hour drive home that usually takes 25 minutes a few weeks ago, I left work at 12:30 yesterday.. I am done ####### around trying to find back roads through Maps that almost totally ####ed me up.Luckily my work closed today. I drove home in the last storm and it was not fun.
It's starting to pick up here. SNJ
Nah, if it was two feet, yes, but the airlines up here are real good at getting back to business. So this Florida boy is in dc for a few days and it’s snowing bad. I have a flight at 6 pm tomorrow. I know the snow will stop tonight, but is it likely the delays/cancellations will affect my flight tomorrow night?
Meanwhile less than 10 miles east of Queens, we have nothing. Maybe an inch, inch and a half on the ground.the snow lightened for a bit, but has apparently bagged a second wind - heavy and yuuuuge flakes pouring down as we hit the afternoon here.
if ours is heading up to yours then you won't be disappointedThat flake I saw at 11am was a false alarm. Coming up on the end of the canceled school day and nothing. I may have even seen the sun peeking through a few minutes ago. WTF is going on here?
Schools over so it's too late. They canceled it TODAY. Not more than one flake.if ours is heading up to yours then you won't be disappointed
Left at 1130 for the return trip home. Was fine. No issue at all. A steady fall here now but more of a nice and slushy mix. Dud so far if you ask me.New Brunswick to cinnaminson this morning at 6 was fine on the turnpike.
Will be leaving here around 11 or noon
By 6 tomorrow you should be fine. The tougher spot is if you had a flight today that was cancelled, and everyone rushes to book what's left for tomorrow and that could mean you have to wait another day and sometimes more depending on how bad the storm is and how many flights to your destination. So this Florida boy is in dc for a few days and it’s snowing bad. Thanks guys. Was going to get a room for tomorrow but I’ll just play it out.By 6 tomorrow you should be fine. That was one of the reasons I cancelled my trip east.. couldn't afford to have my wed flight cancelled and miss Thursday at least, and possibly longer
Kids lost their day off for Good Friday for this snow day. We probably got 4 inches, of which 2 stuck around.Schools over so it's too late. They canceled it TODAY. Not more than one flake.
I'm guessing you made it, lol. Finally starting to flurry in Cranston now.Flying out of RI at 6am on Wednesday to Cabo, hoping I get out just ahead of this beast.
I’m Cabo right now having a drink waiting for my room to be ready. Good job by the whole ####### state cancelling school last night.I'm guessing you made it, lol. Finally starting to flurry in Cranston now.
"Cool, I don't have to use gas, I can sleep in a little longer, and work in my pajamas!"I remember snow being more fun when I was a kid.
I'm curious to see if they cancel for tomorrow. I'm afraid to ask, but what is the temperature there right now anyway?I’m Cabo right now having a drink waiting for my room to be ready. Good job by the whole ####### state cancelling school last night.
83 degrees at 4pm, not a cloud in the skyI'm curious to see if they cancel for tomorrow. I'm afraid to ask, but what is the temperature there right now anyway?
It takes some serious stones to show up in this thread with that kinda bull####.83 degrees at 4pm, not a cloud in the sky
Two weeks ago marked 16 years since I have seen even a single flake of snow. Even when I've traveled to NJ, PA, NY, UT in winter, it won't snow. No residual snow on the ground, nothing. I almost wish I was up there for a day. But just a day.It takes some serious stones to show up in this thread with that kinda bull####.
May you be struck with a mild sunburn as punishment.
So that last big storm was your fault?!??Yeah, I mocked the last storm at lunch time and ended up with over a foot by the time everything was done. But its 3:30 this time and still little more than a dusting. There's maybe an inch or 2 on top of the cars but nothing is sticking on the road. They made the decision to close our office at 6 AM, so I "worked from home" today so I'm certainly not complaining.
Snow was the best! It's not as far away as you think.I remember snow being more fun when I was a kid.
Still nothing in RI. So weird. Can't believe how much it's coming down in the last two hours.
